ASUSROG RYUO 240 RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler 240mm Radiator Dual 120mm 4-Pin PWM Fan with OLED Panel & Fan Control 1.77"

This is by far the best AIO Asus I have used yet, Went from a NZXT X72 Triple Radiator to this ASUS Rog Ryuo 240. And this Performs for cooling dont see a difference, which is awesome cause its only a dual radiator compared to the triple, maybe 1 or 2 celsius different hardly noticed. I saw alot of reviews claiming promblems with live dash. installed and works flawless. NO PROMBLEMS AT ALL. But, I will say I am using a ASUS Z370-F Motherboard. So not sure about other boards. but works perfect with ASUS boards. I have only had it a Week so far. but no issues. Excellent Build Quality and as far as the hose lenght, Its the same lenght as my NZXT X72 , I saw some post about being really long hose. but I am using just a mid tower and its perfect lenght. My NZXT X72 was a Great AIO also. I just love the look of the Asus, and alot of people saying the RGB ring was to dim, Very bright, Also could be i downloaded the newer version of live dash, which i saw they already had a couple of updates so far. But otherwise AWESOME AIO from ASUS. But I ma using a ASUS motherboard.

The media could not be loaded. When I saw the oled display had to get it. Cooling wise it's OK. But looks wise it's awesome. The Armoury Crate software is a little confusing. It does allow me to set a default animated gif, but live dash for displaying CPU temps requires software to be running. Another improvement they could make is the display is square. Would have been better if display went all the way out to circle edges. Still happy with it. Would buy again. It looks amazing. I think it's the only 120 with an oled as well which is all I could fit.

When buying this Cooler I was impressed with how it looked. I had lots of issues with the set up of all the cool stuff like the oled and the FAN Control. I did put the noctua 3000 rpm fans on this due to my case having limited air flow through it. But now to the FIX. DOWNLOAD THE FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR THIS COOLER. It's on Asus Download Center. Pick you cooler and operating system and select show all. First download the firmware update. Listed as 1.00.06 FW update tool. After that is done you will need to download the latest version of AI_Suite_III_3.00.28. make sure you remove any other AI-Suite version before doing this. And BAM! The fans worked great. I set up my load out file to run them exactly how I wished to and they perform really well. FYI. ASUS TECH SUPPORT SUCKS REALLY BAD. THEY COULDNT HELP ME AT ALL. But Im real techy when trying to figure something out.

Quality ROG build material in every aspect of the AOI pump and fan and radiator. But at $141 vs Corsair, H60 69$ I expect functionality, to be well superior to the less expensive but quite adequate former cooling solution.The OLED display is a treat, but my attempts at loading my own GIF was quite impossible. One resolution & no larger than 1 mb.? Ok the built in software gifs were cool, and the option of cpu temp readout was great but for 72$more, just not worth the expense. I have an ROG x299 gaming,mobo and i7 7820x 8 core. Temps were 32-38 idle. Full work load 60-68. Stress 78-90. Gaming 32-50 range. But I get the same with the Corsair, at almost half the cost. And the bright white Corsair Logo works in my chassis, with the RGB lighting from the Mobo's and fans. Wish Asus product cost less.

I was skeptical when I first bought this. RoG tends to be more expensive for the same quality as cheaper similar hardware.The radiator is solid. The fans do look cheap but so far work great and are pretty quiet. The LCD screen is pretty cool. I havent set up the software yet though for it. I havent herd any coil whine or any noises yet.My i7-8700k is OC to 4.8 and it keeps it extremely cool under load. My previous cooler was a Gammaxx GT and this runs at 10 cooler.It's beautiful and I would definitly recommend it.

Originally bought this for my ROG mobo in my main computer, but armoury crate really doesn't work at all. Wouldn't detect the cooler at all; tried firmware updating, finding older versions of the software, deleting all the related registry settings based on scores of forums posts, etc. No good. Only solution I saw for some folks was reinstalling Windows 10. Uhh, no thanks.Would have rated this at a 2. However, quite later after my initial purpose I was upgrading a CPU on my mini-ITX computer and decided to throw this guy in there. Lo and behold, Armoury crate can see this thing now and I'm able to configure the OLED. *shrug*.Stock Ryzen 6 2600 boosts to 4.2Ghz. NZXT H200 case. 38C avg idle. mid 70's under load. Touched 81C while P95-ing & Furmark running concurrently (w/ AIO Cooled 980 GTX Ti)Pros:+ Tubing was more flexible than some of the older corsairs I've worked with. made it possible to get this thing into an ITX form factor case without me worrying too much.+ OLED is a cool enough gimmick, maybe it'll add a few $$ if i ever decided to sell this computer at a future date.+ Does its primary job of cooling my processor well enoughCons:- Fan it came with is louder than everything else in my case even at the normally silent 40%. Have to run it at 30'ish% to match quietness of everything else. If I were less lazy and willing to eat even more potential sunk cost I'd probably replace it.- Way too many cables coming out of this thing. Also quite miffed that it's the only device in my box requiring SATA power.- Even when it kind've works, this management software feels cheap. At its worse, you're basically rolling dice on whether or not you've got a working OLED or not. (good luck with other brands too though apparently, this just might be the state of the world)- Fan curve settings feel extremely limited? I almost want to use my mobo software to handle the speed instead (even though the Smart Fan 5 software is almost equally janky)Am I glad I bought this instead of another cooler? No. Am I peeved enough to return it? Apparently not. Unless you really want the OLED gimmick and are willing to play the odds on that working, probably best to look elsewhere.
