RunStar Smart Scale for Body Weight with Set-Function Handle, 50+ Metrics

Absolutely phenomenal scale! This scales is by far the most reliably accurate scale i have ever had - and I have had more than a few in my day!The many features, sleek design, again true accuracy, right down to the customer service by including a warranty with purchase make this scale my favorite thus far.With that said, unlike most people who keep their scale in the same spot everyday, I have had to transport it daily from our small, shared bathroom back to it's box in my bedroom. I did this to avoid chances of my elderly ma falling over it accidently. About two weeks after purchasing the scale and routinely moving it back and forth every morning safely to it's padded box, I noticed the attractive glowing light around the scale reader had spread similar to the idea of a crack in a car windshield. It is now uneven of a glow and had no specific shape to is glow, completely uneven. Now, to be clear, this has NOT AFFECTED any of the reliability of the many features and the pin point accuracy of the scale, the scale is also still clear to read - it is just annoying and quite upsetting since I had recently purchased it. Since my ma was struggling with a number of sudden medical issues, I did not have time to focus on dealing with the customer service over this defect at the time; but how Runstar handles this situation about 60 days after the purchase will determine whether I change my perspective and review ...So takeaway from this: absolutely amazing scale - just a little more cosmetical fragile then I would expect if someone cannot carefully move it day to day - still, the functionality of the scale is by far the best I have ever encountered!... I really hope i do not have to edit this review as negative and the customer arrive comes through to fix this minor issueEDIT-The company has been very communicative and willing to fix the issue in any way I feel best with - refund, replacement. Due to the holiday season and two family medical emergencies back to back on opposite sides of the country in have not been in the vicinity of the scale to start this process. However, during *my* gaps in communication they seem very understanding and willing to still work with me dispute the time lapse.I bought a scale from a differant company that was over $500 with insurance benefit money that has to be used since I was at my mother's across country. It has differant features but truthfully, the expensive scale is not as accurate as this one here from RUNSTAR. I had tested the RUNSTAR when I first received it weighing certain items, taking them off and on again - if weighted to the tenth of a lb correct - which a lot of scales do not of claim they do and glitch up with this test and not feel the true weight with the little adjustments. My expensive one, literally more than ten times more, had other features but I have no way of knowing if this are even accurate(muscle composition and such) unless i test this scale with my gyms body scale - which i an not that determined to know- but right off the bat I can tell you it is

Easy to setup and link to the app which in turn links easily to the Apple Health app. It gives up a lot of insight into what is going on with body and who the weight is distributed between fat, water, bone and protein mass. There is simply a lot of data collected like your rate and other important vitals. It was recommended by my doctor when I started my weight loss journey who uses the samemodel and I am glad I listened to her.

The scale shows 5 metrics (weight, body fat, BMI, skeletal mass, heart rate). The App shows even more metrics based on the electric connectivity. From prior weighings, the weight and BMI measurements are accurate. My blood pressure monitor gives me a more accurate heart rate; the variance is about 15% more via the scale.On the 4th morning, the scale showed only weight and heart rate. It turned out that the soles of my feet were too DRY and thus, the electrodes on scale were not measuring the other metrics. By wetting the soles of my feet the next morning, the scale was functioning fully. One could also put some body lotion on the soles.I found the ("Starfit") App's metrics very insightful. Since this model does not have a handle with electrodes (implying the small current does not run through the entire body), it does mean the measurement values have a certain accuracy level. I do not see this to be a major issue since it's the TREND LINE that I am focused on. Thus, from a price performance, the scale and App more than meets my needs.Finally, the App on either platform (Apple, Android) can support recording data for my wife and my self. However, I decided for ease of referring to the data, that the measurement data be stored on our respective phones (mine was iPhone, hers was Pixel Android). This required both of us to register accounts on the App. I set the scale up for myself first so that my App/iPhone 'owned' the scale. When I next set up for my wife, I had to 'share' the scale to her phone App ("Device Setting / Share Device' on my App will display a QR Code that her App on her phone will scan and recognize).Operationally, I am the first to weigh myself. I have my iPhone, have Bluetooth on, and start the App on my phone. Scale then connects to my iPhone (via APP) when I step on it briefly to activate it. I then go to "Measure" on App, step on the scale, and it goes through its reading cycle. When scale says "Bye", then I step off. This is IMPORTANT, I have to switch off my Bluetooth to break the connection of the scale to my iPhone. This allows my wife's Android phone to connect to scale (she goes through the same steps, step briefly on the scale to activate it, go to the App on her Android phone, go to "Measure" on her App).Net, you can avoid the preceding Bluetooth disconnect/connect steps if you keep all the metrics for various users on ONE phone.I highly recommend this smart measuring scale. The other metrics includes information on subcutaneous fat, fat free body weight, fat mass, visceral fat, muscle mass, bone mass, cardiac index. I am looking forward to seeing the trends for my short list of metrics as I start focusing on various improvements in my daily and exercise routines.

The scale is great, I love all the measurements; it’s just what I needed for my weight loss and resistance training journey. The only negative is the gimmicky voice that talks at you through crappy speakers with instructions every time you step on the scale. And if there’s an error it screeches like a talking cat. In 2026, if you’re going to give me a talking scale, make it sexy and envelope me in glorious Dolby digital surround sound. Working on my body I want to feel good about it, not cringe with terror that the whole house is going to hear that awful voice and make fun of the experience.

I've had three of these now - the first I took travelling and forgot it - and since I wanted consistency with my data etc, I got a second one. The second one had a very annoying problem where it would randomly reset the units to kg when using it (a lot more often if changing screen in the app). After a few months of this I noticed an option in the app to give feedback and wrote a rather short message about how annoying it was. I got a rapid professional response to this and now I have my third one of these, as the seller replaced it free of charge under the lifetime guarantee! So far the replacement unit is working fine, just as the first one did for well over a year until I lost it.These days, it really impresses me when a company stands behind their products like this - so count me in as a loyal customer!

Love this scale! Definitely top notch! It measures so many different things other then weight and keeps it all in a graph on a very easy to use app. I will never go back to a regular scale again

Overall, a good product. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars instead of four is because I’ve had some trouble with the connectivity, and I have to take the batteries out to reset it periodically. The app is easy to use and I like that it tracks historical data.

Sono davvero soddisfatta di questa bilancia. È elegante, moderna e soprattutto molto semplice da utilizzare. Il display è ben visibile e permette di leggere facilmente il peso. Ho apprezzato molto anche la possibilità di controllare diversi parametri della composizione corporea, come BMI, percentuale di grasso e altri dati utili per monitorare i propri progressi.Molto comoda anche la possibilità di collegarla all'app, che permette di tenere sotto controllo lo storico delle misurazioni e vedere i cambiamenti nel tempo. La superficie è ampia e stabile e la bilancia dà una bella sensazione di solidità.Per il prezzo è un prodotto davvero completo e funzionale.
