I would buy it again!
I love this coffee maker. It is so fast, you could not boil water in the microwave any faster. And the coffee tastes great. I had the larger version of this coffee maker and I used it for years. When I needed a new one I thought why not buy a smaller one. This one is the same thing in miniature version. It is so cute.

Great coffee maker/Not so great thermal pot
I love the coffee maker. It makes great tasting coffee and the coffee maker is an easy aelf clean. The only problem is the pot. My lid doesn’t seem to fit properly and is prone to leak when I pour the coffee. It doesn’t fit tightly. I wish the had made a better thermal pot. The pot opening is narrow and difficult to clean.

FAILED!! Carafe Leaked ALL over counter!!
I purchased this on May 29, 2026. It was an okay machine, made coffee, no biggie. We noticed about 4 weeks into owning it, it would drip a little on the counter when pouring a cup of coffee. Then the following Monday, my husband was filling his tumbler, and the neck of the carafe failed and coffee poured all over the counter! It wasn’t the top lid, it was pouring from the neck where it was supposed to be sealed. It wasn’t 35 days old…luckily, Amazon was great and still allowed us to return it. Just pass on this one. Also, side note, the clock only stays on when brewing.

Great size, stays nice & hot without need of paper filters
So far loving it after first day of morning coffee. We didn’t need a lot of bells and whistles but this nice machine still has several if we wanna use them. Gold mesh metal filter works well without additional paper filters and coffee stays warm through use of entire carafe.

Messy
So very disappointed in this coffee maker. It maybe the coffee grind I use. But this is so very messy and the coffee not near as good as with our Keurig. My husband wanted a coffee maker that made more than 1 cup. Going back to our Keurig.

I really wanted to like this coffee maker!!
I have owned Cuisinart coffee makers in the past and they have always lasted a long time. I decided to replace my last one because I broke the glass carafe. While searching for a new carafe I came across the Personal Brew Coffee maker. It caught my eye because I was interested in a thermal carafe (less likely to break.) After pricing some thermal carafes, I decided to just purchase an entirely new coffeemaker, partly because it seemed dumb to use a thermal carafe on my old coffee maker with a heat plate. I was also intrigued by the "Iced Coffee Function" that was advertised. There was a lot to like about this coffee maker, and I really wanted to like it, but it just did not live up to my expectations. I liked the design (like the integrated scoop) and size. Some reviewers commented that it takes up a lot of space, but it was quite similar to my previous Cuisinart with a glass carafe. The clock feature was easy to read. (The LED numbers on my last one were never bright enough to read.) I liked the control knob in addition to the buttons, and it seemed simple to get a pot of coffee brewing. I liked how the lid on the carafe screwed on securely. I liked the removable water reservoir, because it could be cleaned if necessary. Also, the carafe was easy to clean due to its wide mouth. Unfortunately, there were enough negative features that I ended up returning it. First and foremost, I was surprised it had a heating plate! That seemed totally pointless for a coffee maker with a thermal carafe! It's a waste of electricity and personally, I think that coffee retains its flavor better when kept in a carafe versus continued “cooking” on a hotplate. Plus I don't have to worry about the auto turn-off malfunctioning. Worst of all, it made the bottom of the carafe hot (as I discovered somewhat painfully!) The other big disappointment was the "Iced Coffee Function." I didn't have any expectation that it would produce cold, iced coffee, but was curious how it worked. It was a little difficult to figure out why Cuisinart needed a separate function button for this, but I believe it just makes the coffee a little stronger to off-set dilution from the ice. What seemed weird to me was that the manual said I should fill the carafe to a certain line with ice. (I never did find that line on the carafe, but the manual did say it should be less than half full of ice.) I know that the insulation space means the plate is not really heating the coffee and the ice isn't affecting the hot plate, but I am just kinda fixated on the stupidity of the combination of those 2 features!! So, my search for the perfect coffee maker continues. In the meantime, I am brewing archaically with a stove top percolator! Tasty coffee, but it definitely takes longer to brew and longer to clean!

It will spoil you.
I have used programmable coffee pots for years. I love having the coffee ready when I wake up in the morning. I get my coffee and go back to bed. I prefer this coffee pot over my last one because it’s easier to pour from. The last one I had to turn almost upside down and then it would leak.

Great, with one exception
This is simplicity and functionality at it's (almost) best! I took off a star because the stainless steel pot drips when you pour. No matter how I try, it just drips when pouring. The rest works perfectly. It's easy to use and the coffee tastes great! Clean up as also easy, so I would recommend it.
