Perfect USB microSD Reader for Tesla Model S.
I bought the SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 microSD Card Reader to use with a 256GB SanDisk High Endurance microSD card in my Tesla Model S — and it works perfectly! The Tesla instantly recognizes the reader when it's plugged into the front USB port, and both Dashcam and Sentry Mode start recording automatically. No setup hassle, no errors — just simple plug-and-play.The build quality is solid, and transfer speeds are excellent when moving video files to a computer. It’s compact enough to fit neatly in the center console without getting in the way, and it doesn’t overheat even after hours of continuous use.If you're setting up Dashcam or Sentry Mode on your Tesla and prefer using a microSD card setup (which is more reliable than USB flash drives), this reader is exactly what you need. Super reliable, fast, and affordable. Highly recommended!

Music on the go
I really like this device...I can change my SD card and when I like without having to remember what's on it. I have several SD cards that I have music on for my everyday use and trips. Great product..great quality and portability. I will be getting others as the ease of use and functionality is exceptional.

Actually achieves advertised speeds of up to 170MB/s for UHS-1 cards!!
So excited this worked! I was worried it wasn't going to. Just make sure you're using a USB 3.0 port (usually will be blue on the inside). A little concerning, and I will update my review if it causes any issues, but the reader got quite warm during an only 13.4GB upload to my computer.Edit:After performing a much larger upload of 134GB, the performance did degrade as the card reader warmed up. However, it would return to ~170Mb/s after cooling down a bit.

Hot
I use this adapter with my dji drone so i can view the 4k videos without loading them on my phone. It does an excellent job of play back, the only issue i have with using it is the temperature it gets after playing 4k video for a few minutes. It gets hot to the touch, not hot enough to burn you but hot enough for a audible wow. Cannot say if it would do it with any other type of usage, as I only use it for my dji video.

SD to USB transfers or a simple DIY USB Stick
Problem: PCs these days don't usually have MicroSD readers and I needed one because I own phones and tablets. When I want to transfer gigs of pictures/videos to my PC this card reader does that easily and quickly.Speed: I bought this because its USB 3.0 which means I should get 500MB/s. When used with a C10 or U1 MicroSD that only does 100MB/s the card itself is the bottleneck. Even a U3 is 300MB/s peak transfer and a high quality V## MicroSD are the exact same UHS2 300MB/s speeds and means this device is somewhat futureproof for a while.Capacity: ZERO! On the user. I bought a 256GB U3 MicroSD card for less than 20$ to leave in it.Intended use vs actual use: Wanted it so I could transfer files easily but that's not that often. Practical use, I installed CallOfDuty and its 200+GB on the card and run my game off the chip now. I feel like it loads MW3 faster and is a bit smoother. Less than 30$ I kinda unintentionally got a setup that helped my gaming by freeing up space and improving my performance while still allowing me to transfer files from portable devices when I need to.Perfect for what it does and I'd buy another one if I ever need to. Parts are durable and its compact so I doubt it will break since there's nothing really to break. It's nice solid hardware and a great value for the price.

Data Dynamo
I love how easy it is to use—just plug it into my laptop or desktop and insert the microSD card, and voila! My files transfer quickly without any lag, saving me precious time during busy workdays or while editing my latest photography project. The durable design ensures it withstands frequent use, making it a reliable tool in my tech arsenal. The dual-slot feature is fantastic, allowing me to use both SD and microSD cards simultaneously, which is perfect for multitasking. Plus, the compact size makes it easy to carry around in my bag, ensuring I always have it on hand for any data transfer needs. However, the reader can sometimes feel a bit flimsy, especially when inserting and removing the cards repeatedly, but it hasn’t caused any issues so far. Additionally, while it’s compatible with a wide range of devices, ensuring a proper connection might require a quick restart on some older systems.Overall, the SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 microSD Card Reader is a must-have for anyone dealing with microSD cards regularly. It’s fast, reliable, and incredibly convenient, making data transfers seamless and efficient. A solid 5-star rating for its speed and versatility, with a tiny star lost to its occasional flimsiness.
