Corona TP 6881 Arborist Tree Pruning System, 6-to-12-Feet

Saw and pruning head work great. Only issue is when you use both handles connected together, they have a lot of flex and slop in the connection. But when using a single handle length they work perfectly. Saw is sharp and while I haven't cut a ton with this one specifically , I've used their folding saws a ton and the sharpness holds for a long time cutting Brazilian pepper trees sume over 7 inch.

I bought a set in the '90's when I was in the tree business. I bought separate a loose pole to extend the reach to 18 feet. The sections connect easily and are rigid. The saw blade is good, but can be changed if needed. The pruner is very capable with minimal effort. It looks like all the parts are available. I just bought another set to leave at a different property, was surprised to see the old and new were virtually identical, over a 25 year spread. If affordable, you will not be disappointed.

Spruce topping in a very rough dense foot access only bog. Needed a hostile duty no frills absolutely dependable pole lopper for sound harvesting practices while boosting production appreciably. 6881 is just that. 1-3/4" cutter bite opens up the options & works well. Every time. Several hundred cuts on factory edge right out of the box. Poles have additional bolt thru holes that mate perfectly. Mine has arborist rope from pulleys to handle. Simple quick fix when the time does come. Well made. Pays for itself right away. Buy it once do it right the first time.

I'm not a pro but I found this one sale and both the lopper and saw worked incredibly well as compared with two less expensive models that I have worn out. Being able to use them separately means less tangle in small spaces. I'm 77 and deserved something this good!

Don't be fooled , it is not massive does not have a "big bite" and the opening measures only 1 1/2 inch and has plastic pulleys. I think the marketing department did a little adjustment on the specs. to make it appear to be bigger better than it is. Its only average or even a middle weight at best.

Not as sturdy as I expected. The top section is bulky and difficult to manage with tree branches. When the second section/extension is attached, it becomes wobbly difficult to manage. At least with telescoping models, you can adjust the length incrementally i.e. 7~9 feet so as to better support the added weight closer to the center of gravity.

By far the best tree pruning system ever. I love this set tools makes timing tree's a hole lot easier. Would highly recommend this you won't go wrong.

Simply the best clippers with extra large Jaws at 1.75". Cutter is excellent and sharp! I owned other clippers and I just wasted money on them. I have palm trees and the Corona can easily cut the seed/berries pods with one pull.Mine came in a box without instructions or warrantee? But you can visit their web page at [...]Only down side is they are almost twice the price of the 1.25", but if you have palm trees don't waste your money on the smaller cutters.
