They should call this product easy-bulb. This is my second one and I got it for my daughter in law. We planted over 100 bulbs in one day and it breeze right through grass and soil. Love this product. Buy it. Use it. Clean it in the sink. Keep it. It gets no easier.

I’ve always wanted one of these because tulips are my favorite flower and I plant them often. This is my first bulb planter and it works fine. I used it for non-bulbs as well. My grandsons, ages 4, 5, and 7 were able to successfully use it too!! Together we planted 30 bulbs in minutes!

Having to wait a bit to plant bulbs and finally able to get some into the ground! We have clay soil and although this does help getting a cleaner "dig free" spot for a bulb or smaller corm to plant, I'm discovering that we also have (for some reason) rocks in our clay and there isn't anything that will help in that situation. However, when I find those sections without rocks it is immensely helpful! If you plan on planting a lot of bulbs this is definitely worth the cost to make your life easier.

I can’t wait to plant more bulbs. This tool is going to work well.

Bulb planter tool works well for prepping the soil to insert the bulb. The functionality is there if your soil is not too dry it will then be easy to use and cut through the soil well. The size of the tool is perfect for most bulbs. It is a good value for the money. The tool is sturdy and holds up well to the repetitive task given. It looks exactly as pictured on the listing. I would’ve preferred a more cushioned handle though it is easy to clean with the material it is made of.

I donated this to our town’s garden club since they plant tulips, daffodils, and dahlias every year, and this is what Susan shared after using it. She said it made planting much easier, especially when doing a lot of bulbs at once. The depth markers help keep everything consistent, and the tool cuts cleanly into the soil with minimal effort. The soil release feature also works well, which speeds things up and keeps the process moving without having to dig everything out by hand. It seems durable and comfortable to use and helps reduce bending, which makes a difference when you’re planting for longer periods of time. A couple things to note: Works best in softer or pre-loosened soil May take a bit more effort in very compact ground Overall, it’s a really useful tool for bulb planting and a nice option if you’re doing multiple plantings at once.
