I have three G305 LIGHTSPEED mice (different colours) and a few G603s from a few years ago. The G305 is a great wireless mouse, which is very light, responsive, lag free (lightspeed wireless tech) and takes a single AA battery. I prefer AA/AAA batery operated mice as they run for 6 months or more before they need a change, and you can use your own rechargeable batteries instead of a small built-in battery which loses capacity over time and can cause a mouse to fail before its time. The only concern I have with Logitech mice is their poor switch durability/consistency. I have had the so called 20 Million click switches on G603 fail after a little over a year (surely no where close to 20M clicks). The one upside of G305 is that its not that expensive that you would lose sleep over it after a few years of use, in case the switches start double clicking. One slight down-side for some would be the somewhat small size of the mouse. So if you have larger hands, maybe look for G603 instead, which is a great mouse in its own right, but a bit more expensive, larger and heavier (though it also can work on a single battery, even though it can take two AA cells). You can further reduce the weight of these mice by using a AAA battery in a adapter (as I do with all my mice). The AAA rechargeable batteries don't last as long (maybe a month), compared to AA cells, but its still far superior to the clutter of charging cables and charging stations for mice, which require a charge every other day or so.
