Bronze Double Chocolate Flavored High Protein Bars | 12 Pack

The double chocolate are my favorite David protein bars.

I ordered this box a few weeks ago, and liked them so much I ordered the Peanut Butter one as well just a day or so ago and they arrived today. Having tried both (so far) the DAVID bars are by far THE BEST TASTING protein bars I have ever eaten - they are light, a bit crunchy, there is no cardboard feel or over chewy denseness and they are only 150 calories - they are really great!

We've enjoyed the original David Protein Bar for many months, so we were excited to try this new variety despite its lower protein content. Given how much we love the original (gold) bars, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, this product was a major letdown. The texture is the first issue: it eats like a stiff marshmallow, while the "crunch" pieces are unpleasantly hard, almost jarring to bite into. The flavor is the bigger problem, though. It comes across as artificial and chemical-tasting, with none of the satisfying quality we've come to expect from the brand. For the grams of protein per dollar, these simply aren't worth it. We're genuinely surprised David Protein brought this one to market. We'd recommend sticking with the original and skipping this variety.

I want to love these, I really do. I absolutely love the "regular" fudge brownie protein bars by David... and these bronze bars are even more delicious to the taste. Marshmallow, great flavor, I love the nutrition... BUT... sigh... it's like smearing gooey, chocolatey glue all over my teeth. It gets stuck in places I don't even want to have to floss. I think at least 15% of it is wrapped around my teeth and gums, and I might need a drink, or I might need a full shower to get it out, it seems. So to be less melodramatic, the consistency of the inside of the bar is just too gooey for me. I can't chomp down one of these before a meeting, because it'll take me a good 15+ minutes to get it out of my teeth. Even over zoom, people be like "what's wrong, did you develop a lisp? Do you have dentures?" and I'm like... nope, just good tasty protein. So I highly recommend David bars. I've only tried the Bronze Double Chocolate flavor of this bar, and it just doesn't work for me. I do still highly recommend the "regular" David bars. And maybe other flavors are not as chewy gooey messy. No idea. Hope that helps!

I’ve tried a lot of protein bars. This is the best tasting bar I had. I was very skeptical at first but it’s worth it a bit on the pricey side though compared to other bars. But for the protein vs calories it maybe worth it.

Me sorprendieron mucho estas barras. La textura y el sabor son realmente únicos, especialmente para ser una barra alta en proteína. El sabor a doble chocolate crunch está muy bien logrado y se siente diferente a otras barras que he probado. Definitivamente una muy buena opción para tener como snack.

The David Brand products are fantastic. I like all the different flavors however, when I receive them in the warm weather wanna open the packages they are soft runny and changes the texture and taste in my opinion.

Good wholesome Ingredients that taste awesome only 150 calories per bar and packed with 28 grams of protein. They are delicious… I use them when I can’t get a meal right away and the take care of that hunger, all the while by the texture, making you think ,IM EATING A CANDY BAR !!! did I mention they are delicious. I love these bars and they come in different flavors all just as awesome. Will buy more… oops I already did
