Easy to assemble. Sturdy and comfortable. Lools great and a perfect colour match with our piano. Enough space in storage area for current sheet music and a few other bits. Really delighted, it is exactly what we were after.

Reviewer from Northern Ireland. The box that my double seat arrived in... nowhere near sturdy or protective enough. As I feared, there were small indents in the wood on the underside of the seat. I let this go, as no-one sees under the chair. Then I began assembling the chair. As I screwed the legs on I noticed that the leg was not sitting flush with the wooden seat frame. This was same for all 4 legs no matter how I configured them. So, I either had to fix the problem myself or send it back to China and go through a lot of hassle. So I got my joiner to have a look. He confirmed the wooden frame was off kilter, the edges of the wood needed sanded to become flush, and the metal plates that hold each leg screw needed adjusting too. Come on guys! What sort of product is this you are churning out? Careless craftsmanship, which is costing customers more in the end. To be fair the product looks lovely from above, and is nice to sit on, but if I hadn't of got the problems fixed by a professional joiner, this chair would have buckled in a few weeks. See photos. Unless the sellers sort this out, I would advise other buyers to cough up a bit more and go for a piano stool that's sold in a shop that they can walk in and out of. Sorry, Filisite, just not good enough.

This is a high-quality piano bench that has finally allowed me to return to my music. I unfortunately lost my previous bench during a recent move, which left my piano unused for quite some time. This new bench is a perfect replacement; the solid wood construction feels incredibly sturdy, and the padded cushion is very comfortable for long practice sessions. The storage and adjustable height are excellent features. I am very impressed with the craftsmanship!

I bought this bench for my wife who, as a retiree is learning to play piano. She loves it. The bench is sturdy, elegant, easy to assemble, and matches her white piano perfectly. The gold lettering adds a touch of quality and class. No complaints here.

The Bench is well padded and generally comfortable for 2 people to sit on. I would have preferred the storage space bigger due to size of the bench, however the space is still ideal to store several music books and i am happy with it. My only concern is the mechanism / latch used in opening and closing the storage section, it appears and feels flimsy and might break easily.

This piano bench is a high quality product with good value for the money and good value overall. It's real wood with a glossy protective finish and is the right size, height, and fit. The adjustable range of the bench should accommodate any adult, and the storage compartment is thick enough for a 1 inch music book. Don't buy this bench just for storage-if you want a few inches of storage, you'll need a bench which has a noticeably taller storage compartment. The storage is just a bonus for me though, as I have many bookshelves. The bench is also sturdy and does not creak when I sit on it. Perhaps if you screwed the legs in too loosely or not straight, it would creak. I would advise screwing in the legs slowly and carefully, as the wrench can chip away the paint on the edges of the nearby wood if you're not watching what you're doing. You can also put fabric over the nearby wooden edges while tightening to prevent damage from the wrench. Admittedly, I found it impossible to screw in the legs 100% straight, and I build furniture for a living. That being said, the gaps are quite slight and not noticeable. In general, you're not going to have perfect wooden furniture unless it's carved out of a tree in one piece. My only real complaint is that the seat isn't as firm as I would like. I weigh 210 lbs. and leave the seat deformed after sitting on the edge for a few minutes. It doesn't morph back into shape-you have to press it back. Therefore, I have adjusted by sitting farther back on the seat than I normally would so my weight isn't all on the edge. I'm just saying this wasn't an issue with my last padded piano bench. I do like that the padding on this Filisite bench is thick though. I don't luv that FIlisite is written on the bench, as it clearly doesn't match my piano's brand. I just rotated the bench the other way to hide the lettering, but this makes the hinges visible on the backside. I like the look of this bench-there's something regal and grand about its wideness. I got the light brown one, as it has warm tones and I have a red piano. The width, color, and storage of this bench are worth the unwelcome Filisite lettering and the insufficient edge support in the seat. A standard $250-300 bench would only be slightly better, and this FIlisite bench is very nice. It's definitely furniture with a classy look that will last a long time.
