Very good but slightly boxy.
Initially the right speaker was louder than the left. Left and right inputs were swopped, and the PC was set to Mono but the issue persisted. The left side of my desk is next to the wall but the right is closer to the middle of the room, this is known to have a bad effect on the sound and the left speaker was moved 1.5 inches closer to correct the problem. A balance control would have been useful (as would a treble control). Use the PCs Mono setting to get the balance right through physical positioning, then switch back to stereo. Crank up the Bass control until bass is correct, then turn it back by half a click. These speakers DO NOT HISS, thus 5 stars. The Bass is slightly out and so is the Treble, the result is a good sound that is slightly boxy. For a 'reference' sound you would need 5 inch speakers, so these are not quite good enough for near field mixing. If the sound is not perfect it's because these do not cost £200 each. I have used speakers of twice this size that sounded terrible in comparison. These are very good especially for the price. Didn't test bluetooth.

No regrets
These replaced a set of Bose Companion 3 speakers that I still think are the best set of multimedia speakers you can buy. They were not so much suited for home music production though, but I also didn't want to go for traditional near field monitors, as I wanted some sort of a bridge between the two with added bluetooth, remote etc. The Edifiers look great out of the box, wooden casings, quality finish, generous length leads. Hooked up to my Mac they do exactly what I wanted delivering a really good quality hi fi sound for music and movies as well as being quite a decent pair of speakers for producing music at home - drum loops sound full and rich and guitar tones I'm getting from a POD GO sound exactly same as through a pair of my premium brand studio headphones. I think these are quite a bargain at 80 quid, if I was to mention anything negative about them it would be probably the remote that could be a bit bigger but other than that absolutely no regrets.

Great sound on a budget
I bought these speakers for my turntable and they're an excellent step up from the old hifi I had it hooked up to before. The sound quality is excellent for the price. Also, I only have the bass turned up about halfway and it's more than enough for a medium-sized room. The Bluetooth connection is simple to set up and quick to connect. My only gripe is a small issue with the design. The indicator light is on the side of one of the speakers which makes it impossible to tell if they're switched on and if they're switched to 'line' or Bluetooth, so it sometimes leads to a lot of guessing with the remote!

Fab little speakers
I’d been looking at speakers in a much higher price range that these previously. Mainly based upon the reviews on here, I decided to have a punt, for the money, they seemed to good to be true. I have a Bluetooth deck attached and a hard-wired CD player. I also attach my phone tablet to stream. I ran them at a little over 1/4 of the full volume for a week or so, to get a bit of movement and flex into the cones. Once I was confident they had been ‘run in’, I have cranked them up to 11!! For the size and price, you’d be hard pressed to beat the sound quality. They can be a little bass heavy with some formats & I’ve noticed a humming at higher volumes from the record player. I think this is feedback due to the close proximity of the equipment, but it’s not a major issue- they get turned down marginally and this subsides- there is still plenty of sound. All in all a spectacular set of speakers for the money, easy to set up and connect to- worth every penny.

Good sound & build quality
I currently use these speakers as my main drivers for my PC for working, music, gaming etc. For £90, the sound quality is very good. The sound profile is very even, with heavy (but adjustable) bass, and the tweeters perform well on the high end. They look sleek, and the wood finish is nice, adding weight to the speakers themselves. The sound and bass/treble control knobs are slightly fiddly, however not really a massive concern given that you would "set and forget". I rarely use the Bluetooth functionality, but pairing is easy enough, and the included remote is functional but nothing special. Overall a very strong choice for £90 that have never failed me.

Exactly what i needed
i have been trying to set up a fairly decent home karaoke for a while, read loads of articles saying you need a mixer, amp and active speakers etc etc, bought all that and still had sound issues and feedback etc etc....then I saw these which have a direct mic input, read the reviews and decided to go for it....I'm so pleased I did as it works a treat and the sound quality is great considering the price of them. So I have my wireless mics directly input to these speakers and the bluetooth allows me to connect the tv sound so both get played through these speakers. Its great and i'm really pleased with them.

Quite powerful speakers
I was delighted with the price I paid however I'm finding that the bass is quite heavy with a kind of echoey noisewhat what's annoying is I cannot adjust or control this by the remote control the remote control is very limited so I have to keep getting up to adjust the settings - Bass button adjustment is at the back of the speaker so more inconvenience that's too much for me I'll see if I can get on very hard to find tune things when you're a streaming music and the ads have a lot of Base it's too much

They really are awesome.
Rarely give reviews but after purchasing a few options for the home office and even rigging up old studio monitors, amps and speakers I bought these based on recommendation and reviews on a whim. Natural bass you can crank up to max via control knob for house music etc or down for something more neutral. Mids and highs are where they are meant to be out the box. Best Bluetooth speakers I’ve heard for under £200.. and that’s saying something considering they are less than £100!
