We invested in the twin TV DVD player for our holidays this year as we are driving a long way. The clip in system is very easy to initially set up in the car and the screens are very simple to attach and remove - It literally takes seconds to remove them. The wires fit into the head rest clip in part - NOT the TVs so once you are set up there is no more messing with wires when you want to remove the screens from view / the car. They provide a good quality sound and visual experience and the kids are over the moon with them, as we are too. This package comes with everything you need. The wires attached to the plug (for the cigarette lighter plug) are plenty long enough to reach around all cars (we have a 7 seater so its a long, large car) and they have a wind up system to prevent extra wire length getting in the way and little magnets on the wires so can be easily tucked away and actually stay in place. It also comes with a hand held remote control, making it very easy to use from the front seats, without having to clamber around to the back. Full instructions and a small battery for the remote. Also Included are 2 x simple white head phone sets which work fine though we have invested in some slightly better ones that cover the whole ear, but thats just personal preference. All this comes in a great black storage bag for neatness and ease. What it does NOT mention in the description is that this package also comes with a UK/EU (changable heads) plug adaptor so you can take the main DVD TV out of the car and use it in a house, or anywhere where there is a standard plug socket available. Thats brilliant and super handy for us to use in the holiday home though I did not realize this at the time I purchased as it does not tell you anywhere so I brought a separate battery for this purpose, which isnt cheap at 20 something pounds....If I had known it came with a plug adaptor I would not have brought the battery. The only time you need to purchase the battery is if you are using it on a plane or train. The battery does not come with its own plug charger though the plug adaptor that comes with the TV system also fits and charges the battery. Over all its great value for money and well worth it. Im glad I purchased this set instead of the sets that strap to the head rest as this design is really sturdy and very well made. I feel a little bit mislead in to buying the separate battery but had to give this purchase 5 stars as it really is a superb system for the car and we love it! I highly recommend this for anyone with children on a long journey as you really cant put a price on silence :D ....even with purchasing the now useless extra battery....its still worth it!

In a nutshell; Pros: clean & professional design, very good mounts in this package (crash tested and passed), easy to install, easy software, nice bag included, good remote-control, clear picture and last but not least a very good value for this price. Cons: dark colours tends to blur sometimes, only supports divx for compressed movies(not mp4, .mkv and more), build in speakers are more or less useless (need headphones) However headphones is more or less an obligation anyway, in order for driver and front-passenger to don't be disturbed. Could be better (personal opinion): chair-mounts could be changeable in more angles (better for middle-seat). Some cord-holders should be included (sticker style) *Recommended: buy the aditional IR-headphones from Nextbase, which also have good value. Buy a 32GB USB (I use Sandisk), in order to play compressed movies (divx), mp3 and pictures.

These are expensive but they are well.worth the price. They are evidently just a completely different standard to other dvd players. They easy to install and very secure, they work perfectly, the remote works storage bag is so handy. Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase

Out of the box the DVD unit would stop playing if the front cover was touched - seemed to be an over-sensative switch. Two bits of stick-on rubber pad solved the problem but not ideal for a product of this price. The maximum volume level is also lower than our last Nextbase units; on maximum it was just about ok. The clip-on holders are great and simplify installation a lot, but the lead from the junction box to the 12v outlet is rather too short (although it was just long enough to use). This part of the lead is can be wound up into the junction box but this is just a gimmick as this doesn't work for the other two leads.

One of the mounts is noiseless, but the other one is very noisy whenever the car is on the move; the DVD attached to this mount keeps going off!!

As worth other reviewers, it just doesn't last. Just out of 12 month warranty and the disk stops reading. For £250 you should get more longevity. The stanchion mounting and screen size are excellent and, whilst it works, it's a good piece of kit. But to replace the faulty main unit world be throwing good money after bad.

Bought this for my new Audi to keep the kids entertained on a long drive down through France. Gave it a good test today on a 2hr each way visit and the kids loved it. The screen mountings are very good quality and look stylish yet subtle enough to leave fixed in the car always. The screens slide onto the mounts fairly easily and the wires connect to the mounts. The wires also have a handy magnet that allows you to tuck them down the sides of the seat and the magnet holds them out of the way so the kids don't snag the wires as they get in & out of the car. A well designed bit of kit. So far very happy.

I bought these well over a year ago now and after lots of use they are still working perfectly. They are simple to operate and very convenient to move in and out of the car. We have the brackets permanently wired in and just take off the screens when not in use. The speakers are loud enough for the kids to use without headphones if preferred.

Auf den wenigen bisherigen Autoreisen hatten wir uns von Freunden ein älteres 7-Zoll Philips-DVD-Set ausgeliehen und immer betont, dass für den Verwendungszweck Kinderfilme eine einfache Variante ausreicht. Nach der zweiten "Wie schaffe ich es, die Tragetasche ausreichend an der Kopfstützte zu befestigen"-Aktion kam ich ans Grübeln. Und erst dieses Kabelwirrwarr... Also den Markt sondiert und bei dem Click 9 gelandet. Zumal durch einen Modellwechsel beim Hersteller auch die Preise purzeln. Ein neues Lite"-Set für unter 250 EUR und neuwertige bei Warehouse-Deals für unter 220 EUR. Bei den Deluxe"-Modellen können Sie zwei verschiedene Filme abspielen oder einen Film teilen. Das für unsere Zwecke ausreichende Lite"-Set bietet ein Abspielgerät sowie einen zusätzliche Monitor, der dann denselben Film ausgibt. Die Stromkabel sind gebündelt, d.h. beide Monitore werden über ein Stromkabel versorgt und Kabelsalat gehört der Vergangenheit an. Weiter besitzen Monitor und DVD-Fach eine eigene, nicht bei allen Geräten selbstverständliche Arretierung, die gegen unbeabsichtigtes Umklappen/ Herausfallen schützt. Bei der Kopfstützenhalterung bietet nur Nextbase eine stabile Metallhalterung, in der die Geräte während der Fahrt nicht in alle Richtungen schwingen und die so variable ist, dass sie auch in unterschiedlichen Fahrzeugen problemlos mit dem beiliegenden Inbus angebracht werden kann. 7- oder 9-Zoll? Vermutlich reichen auch 7-Zoll aus, jedoch ist die größere Diagonale auf Dauer angenehmer zuschauen. Die Auflösung ist für unsere noch recht kleinen Kinder unerheblich, aber die 800x480 Pixel sind auf Dauer und für Filme jenseits alter Zeichentrickfilme sichtbar die bessere Wahl. Ein USB-Stick wurde kurz angetestet, die daraufbefindliche DivX-Datei ohne Murren abgespielt. Da unseren Kindern das Tragen der In-Ear-Hörer insbesondere über einen längeren Zeitraum zu unangenehm ist, nutzen wir Kopfhörer mit Ohrmuscheln. Die Nextbase Dual Infrarot Kopfhörer" sind eine gute kabellose Variante. Für Kinder angenehm zu tragen, robust, klanglich gut, nicht zu laut und auch für mp3-Player zu verwenden sind die Sony MDRZX300". Der integrierte Akku hat eine angegebene Laufzeit von bis zu 2 Stunden. Für Flugreisen bzw. wenn eine Steckdose fehlt, empfehle ich Ihnen zusätzlich die Click & Go Battry 7"/9" series". Auch am Urlaubsort sind die Geräte sehr gut nutzbar. Spätestens wenn die Kurzen dann zum Einschlafen Ihre Hörspiele vorgespielt bekommen, bin ich mir sicher, dass sich diese Investition auf jeden Fall gelohnt hat.

Se rompió una pantalla sola

Le caratteristiche che mi hanno convinto ad acquistarlo sono esattamente quelle che ho riscontrato nel prodotto una volta utilizzato: Le staffe rendono i monitor molto stabili per la visione e il lettore usb legge praticamente tutti i formati. Inoltre ho dissolto alcuni dei dubbi che avevo, vale a dire che i due monitor sono perfettamente sincronizzati e il livello del volume è sufficiente per permettere l'utilizzo dei monitor anche senza cuffie. Gli agganci retraibili permettono di lasciare le staff in auto senza rischiare che i contatti si rovinino in qualche modo. I video si sganciano e agganciano molto facilmente e questo è molto utile quando ci si ferma per una sosta se non si vogliono lasciare in macchina (c'è anche una borsa che permette di portarli con se) Unica pecca è la poca qualità dei contatti, già dal secondo viaggio capitava che il lettore principale si riavviasse in automatico e ad un anno di distanza dell'acquisto (e usati per solo due viaggi), mi sono accorto che le guide che tengono fermo il monitor principale si sono come allentate e il monitor non faceva contatto come doveva e di conseguenza l'altro monitor non riceveva il segnale (non vi dico quanto ci ho messo a capire che il problema dipendeva da quello principale e non dal secondario). Ho risolto il problema inserendo uno spessorino (del cartoncino) in modo da facilitare il contatto risolvendo entrambi i problemi, però non mi sarei aspettato con il poco uso che ne ho fatto di avere un problema del genere.

Nach langer Recherche habe ich mich für dieses System entschieden und bisher nicht bereut. Montage: Mittels eines mitgelieferten Inbus Schlüssel befestigt man die beiden Halterungen an den Kopfstützenholmen. Das System ist hierbei sehr flexibel, passt sich unterschiedlichen Holmendurchmessern und -abständen an. Inkl. Kabelverlegung habe ich etwa 10 Minuten benötigt. Das Stromkabel ist in einem Kabelaufroller verstaut. Vorteil: Nur die benötigte Kabellänge liegt im Fahrzeug. Nutzung: Der Player und der zweite Monitor lassen sich kinderleicht einrasten und ebenso einfach abnehmen. Die Bedienung geschieht über am Rand befindliche Taster und Regler. Das hat zwar den Nachteil, dass man die Funktion der Tasten nicht gut erkennt, lässt die Bildschirme aber wesentlich aufgeräumter aussehen. Bei Druck einer Taste erscheinen zudem alle Tastenfunktionen am oberen Bildschirmrand. Optional kann die mitgelieferte, etwa scheckkartengroße Fernbedienung genutzt werden. Beide Bildschirme lassen sich unabhängig Ein- / Ausschalten, sowie die Lautstärke und Helligkeit regeln. Der Neigungswinkel ist in 3 Stufen einstellbar. Vor dem Aussteigen kann man beide Bildschirme kinderleicht aus der Halterung ziehen und in die mitgelieferte Tasche verstauen. Das schützt diese vor Langfingern - super Lösung! Materialqualität: Natürlich Kunststoffgehäuse. Das hat den Vorteil, dass die Geräte sehr leicht sind. Auf mich macht das Design und die Verabeitung einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Abgerundete Kanten, eindeutige Tastendruckpunkte, reflexionsarmer Bildschirm, stabile Metallhalter, edle Oberflächen und Farben (schwarz matt) sämtlicher Teile, flexibles und stabiles Anschlußkabel u.s.w. Die mitgelieferte Tasche ist ebenfalls klasse! Sie beinhaltet 4 eingenähte Fächer für jeden Bildschirm und das Zubehör, Klettverschluß, einwandfreie Nähte und Stoffqualität! Videoqualität: Ein wirklich gutes Bild. Ich habe mir u.a. Avatar darauf angesehen. Keine Ruckler, selbst beim Schütteln des Players. Die Auflösung von 800x480 Pixel macht sich bemerkbar. Der Kontrast ist auch sehr gut, wenn man die Bildschirme nicht zu hell einstellt. Ein besseres Bild erzielt man natürlich bei getönten Autoscheiben. Die Größe von 9" ist mehr als ausreichend. Man sollte bedenken, dass der Betrachtungsabstand auf den Rücksitzen meist nur einen halben Meter beträgt. Audioqualität: Die 2 eingebauten Lautsprecher sind ausgezeichnet. Super Stereobild, toller, verständlicher und klirrarmer Klang. Wer mehr möchte, kann kabelgebundene oder Infrarotkopfhörer anschliessen. Der Nextbase Player bietet im Menü Stereo- oder Surroundklang an. Beides ist brauchbar. Die Bildschirme lassen sich leicht (de-)montieren und der DVD-Player auch an der Steckdose betreiben. 2 Steckervarianten für 110-240V sind dabei. Eigentlich nur schade, dass es solche Player noch nicht für Blu-Ray gibt. So ist meine Auswahl an Filmen für unterwegs recht begrenzt. Lieferung / Verpackung: Amazon-typisch: TOP! Fazit: Meine Kaufempfehlung und 5 Sterne für dieses sehr durchdachte System!
