Dockers Men's Thurman Chelsea Boot

got these for 30 dollars . for that price they are a very nice boot. a little tight on the tops of my feet which i have never experienced with another shoe but they break in after a while . leather has held up great and soles are comfy. i am pretty happy with them after 4 months of use .

I've worn them consistency for a few months now and haven't had any issues. They fit well and keep my feet dry in the snow and slush. I wouldn't recommend them for extended outdoor wear in the winter as they are not warm enough, but two pairs of socks fixes that. They are not dressy enough for business causal dress codes.

I bought this in April 2015, kept it in storage as backup/replacement. My giftee started wearing this Sep 2017. So, it’s only been 3 mos but the soles already have holes. Turns out, these boots may look rugged and tough, but the soles Dockers used are HOLLOW!!! Who thought it was a good idea to put hollow soles on boots? These Dockers Thurman Chelsea boots replaced a Rockport Aphrael dress boot that was worn from Jan 2013 to Aug 2017. Its soles were worn down by then but there were NO HOLES. It had solid outsoles. We also had Dockers Cayanne slip-ons that were advertised as leather but, in just a few months of use, the “leather” was cracking. Two Dockers bought = both failed. I already made an actual written note to myself to never buy Dockers shoes again. It's a good thing these Dockers Thurman boots were on sale ($30) when I bought them. It's selling here right now for $99.95 - Don't buy it unless you're going to toss them out in 3 months. We had a bad experience too with Ecco (new shoes, stored, brought out a year later to wear. Outsole crumbled into sticky chunks) and Margaritaville boat shoes (hollow soles). There are a few other brands but I can't remember them right now. In contrast, every pair of Cabela's shoes I have lasted/are lasting years and years. I've been wearing a pair of Cabela’s mocs since Aug 2014. The outer soles are worn down but THERE ARE NO HOLES. They’re solid soles, not HOLLOW. I think I'll stick to Outfitter store brands when buying boots.

I ordered them a half size smaller after reading the previous reviews. The tongue for the right foot is a little tight fitting but I will have to wear them more to break them in.

The other reviewers were correct, these boots are way too big. I ordered a half size to small due to the other posts, and it wasn't enough. I will be returning and ordering a size and a half smaller to get them to fit. They are nice looking boots however. They seem to have a nice cushion, but when they are that big the support isn't where it is supposed to be. If they could get the sizing correct, these would probably be a 4 star shoe!

I ordered these due to the low price and not having to tie my shoe. Also I think these look really great (Like Hank Moodys' boots on the show Californication - except those cost well over $100). Like any new boot/shoe, they felt awkward at first and I didn't think i was going to like them. But now I dont know how I haven't grabbed a pair of these. Lightweight, smooth surface, and overall seem durable enough for normal use. Will update if I have an issue with them.

I buy a lot of cheap dress boots since I tire of a style easy and I am not real ardent about polishing. These boots seem like full grain leather uppers and are definitely leather. They have worn well after 2 months and the sole didnt crack in half like prior Dockers boots I have purchased. At 30 bucks these are great for casual wear and on the motorcycle. A really good deal.

Nice looking shoe. Decent quality. Very good price. Comfortable. Bit on large size but good. Heel just the right height. Would buy them again
