Heartbeat Hot Sauce Co. - Red Habanero Medium Heat 6 oz - 1 Pack

This to me is a personal favorite. I like light/medium heat nothing too extreme. This hits it perfectly! The taste is amazing too. Whether I use it on wings or chicken nuggets it's my go to and for the price it last quite a long time and is worth a try!

I've been buying this for years and it's a very versatile hot sauce that has a good viscosity for putting on top of things without being too thick and a super pleasant taste. It's fantastic for Pizza, Chorizo and Eggs, Tacos, and Wings but I find myself putting it on all sorts of stuff. The heat melds with light citrus notes. It's a disarmingly mild hot sauce but you can taste the floral habanero pepper which is great. Heat-wise, this is not going to knock your socks off and I think people who aren't typically into super spicy hot sauces will really love this one. I have tried hundreds of hot sauces and I think this is the most accessible and versatile and despite it's relatively high price I do think it's worth it!

We bought this sauce an one other together as our first foray into good hot sauces. My only real baseline comparison before this would be Cholula, Frank's, or Tabasco.. run-of-the-mill stuff. I slather lots of Cholula on stuff and it doesn't light me up at all. This sauce here is sweet and delicious. It's not too hot at all, unless you use too much. On another popular hot sauce site it's rated 5/10 which is the same as another bottle we just got (Butterfly Bakery Smoked Onion). This one isn't nearly as hot as the Smoked Onion, but tastes better. A friend who tried these who is a lot more of a spice lord than I am said he liked the flavor of this one but wished it had the heat of the other. I like them both and I'll say if you are just dabbling into hot sauces and are afraid you'll get something that's too hot to enjoy, do not be afraid of this one. It's not that hot at all... and that's coming from a Cholula guy. It's probably just a little hotter than Cholula, but waaaay more flavorful. Enjoy!

I don't really think too much of this sauce. I was expecting it to be much hotter than it is. It's extremely tolerable as far as heat goes. It has a very strong flavor of habanero. Other than that I'm not sure what else this sauce has going for it. I tried it on chicken and it was just ok. I did find it to be fantastic on pizza. Call me crazy though...I think plain old Franks Red Hot for $1.50 is way better than all of these overpriced gourmet hot sauces. This is the second Heartbeat sauce I've tried and there is no way to justify the price. I think if you really enjoy the flavor of peppers then you will probably like this sauce. It's not bad but it's not a repeat buy from me. I have also seen people say that this sauce can ge5 lost in food and I can confirm that. Depending on what you're eating this sauces flavor seems to completely disappear. I liked it on pizza. I did try it on a burger because the flavor seemed like it would be a very good match. Just a burger, cheese, and lettuce with this sauce on it and the sauce was undetectable other than some very slight heat. Flavor completely disappeared. Such a shame. Would probably need to use a quarter of the bottle to taste on a burger.

I have tried a lot of hot sauces over the years and some are just a little bit spicy and some are so hot as to make it impossible to taste what you put it on in the first place. They are more of a novelty than anything. I love the flavor of Habanero peppers but most sauces are over the top. HEartbeat keeps the flavor, and it IS hot, but not over the top. I love it. It IS a little bit pricey compared to some others but it is worth it to me.

Heartbeat hot sauce has literally ruined my life. I can’t truly enjoy a number of my favorite foods without it anymore. I need it on hand at all times. It has a slight kick (I, however, was raised in a home where the entire fridge door was full of hot sauces and we grew scotch bonnets to eat with most meals, so I’m probably not the right person at all to ask if you can’t handle spicy), but the flavor is phenomenal. I put it on everything. The ONLY issue I have is with the bottle. After the first use it clogs up and I have to twist the cap off to use it afterwards. I’m hoping someone from the company reads these, and fixes the problem….. but I’m going to continue to buy it either way. Do yourself a favor - try it. Immediately.

Cons: For one, this is a good hot sauce. I have a hard time with the name though, as the bell pepper flavor is significantly stronger than the habanero, leaving me disappointed as a habanero lover. Bottle is pretty small for 12$. Understandable price for a small batch. Pros: even though there isn't much habanero flavor, the taste is still quite good. it has an earthy, sweet flavor profile from the bell peppers The heat is just enough. makes the mouth tingle but doesn't make you pant or regret having too big a portion. consistency. The sauce has enough viscocity to not travel around on chip and drip off but its also not so thick its a salsa. the bottle is a great thing too. more hot sauces should use the spout to make an easier pour.

One of my favourite, if not my absolute favourite hotsauce of all time. Such a depth of flavour that stays with you for a while. Delicious, not too warm but a little kick. My current condiment of choice.

Most hot sauces have just screw top lid that gets super messy after opening and pouring etc. Bought this for my boyfriend in a personalise favourite food hamper and he loves it! Literally loves the flavour but mostly the twisty top and being able to squeeze it on with precision haha.

Better in terms of flavour than many. Could be a lot spicier. Goes well with many things but goes too quickly. Pricy in the long run.
