Will this work with Fitbit Alta?

No, it is not fits Fitbit Alta. But we recommend (ASIN: B01EHSLROS Title: MoKo Charger with Reset Button Compatible with Fitbit Alta/Ace, Replacement USB Charging Cable Cradle Dock Cable Adapter with 10.8 Inch (275mm) Cable Length, Black) to you.

I dont understand what the difference is between using the reset button or not. Either way it’ll restart as battery charges. What am I missing here?

When I had troubles getting it to connect with my computer I had to use the reset as part of the process the tech walked me through to fix the problem. Also had to use it when I first set it up on my phone as it would not "turn on" when I tapped the screen...just kept giving me the website address.

Product does not last!

Product lasted less than 4 months.... just stopped working for no reason. Just changed my review to 5 starts. Contacted company and they immediately refunded my money.... so it is so nice to know that they stand behind their products. Will definitely use them again.
