I am wondering how this will stand up to the intense florida sun?

I live in Southwest Florida and these brackets hold up exceptionally well. My pool cage was built in the mid-seventies. I believe the bracket I replaced was the original. I've owned the house for 18 years so it was at least older than that. The new one was purchased by me in April of this year and appears to be identical to the one from the seventies. The bracket on the other pool cage screen door is still the original. So, based on my experience , its "only" going to last at least 18 years and maybe 50.

What is theactual size? It looks the dimension in this ad is too big

The overall length is 4-1/4 inches. "L" shaped mounting shape is 1-3/4 inches by 5/8 inches. I just measured a spare one in its package with a folding carpenter's folding rule.
