Worth the extra price for heavy duty extension cords
Compared to the normal 15A, hard yellow plastic sockets that are available on Amazon, these areWAY better. My 15A extension cord into greenhouse runs a heater - total draw on hi is just over 13.4A.When it's on continuously, it's not a problem - but the ON/OFF cycling burns the normal 15A sockets.Replaced with this and no more problems.The plastic on these is much more dense, feels more like high molecular weight plastic than the "hard" 15A yellow sockets. The internal metal parts are much beefier. And, to boot, the connections are straight into the back, inline with the cord, rather than the on the sides.If you're pushing the limits of a cord - spend the extra.

Intended for use with generator, Use 12/3 braided power cord , and you will have the full 20 amp rating that most generators offer at the receptacle, Vs the standard 15 amps found more commonly

Works well and compact design
Its smaller than some other replacement connectors I've used.Hardware grabs the bare wire and holds it securely. Strain relief fits some larger wire sizes 10 and 12awg extension cords.I did use some liquid tape to fill in around edges of cord at strain relief and help keep dirt and moisture out.

This is an excellent product and of high quality.
This product was very easy to use and install. The quality of the product is excellent. I was surprised how easy it was to install.

Professional Level Plug
After using a one of those yellow Harbor Freight sockets and having it melt from having a electric oil filled radiator plugged into it I wanted a better solution without paying a fortune and this plug fit the bill. It was easy to install and has been doing fine with the radiator.
