This is the trowel you’re looking for. The handle is small enough that anyone can use it. The blade is large enough to handle business without being too large for a pack trowel. No useless serrations on the blade and the blade is at a reasonable curvature to add structural integrity without being difficult to place in your pack. It’s lighter than competing trowels and is more durable than those plastic jobbers. The more I use this thing, the more I appreciate its utility and simplicity.

Well designed, thin and light, with no sharp edges that could damage my pack. The soil isn't super rooty in my area, so it's more than sufficient and lighter than my old shovel.

Nice and light. Would be 5 stars if a carabiner was included. Made in USA, which is nice.

It’s ok it felt like it would cut your hand if you was in hard soil. Maybe some tape around the top would help. It could be a little bit longer

First impression: It is small. Small is good. It fits in my pocket. It is sturdy and does do a fine job of digging. It has a fine smooth finish and is easy to clean. My plastic trowel is staying home now. The only con was the sticker removal adhesive which had to be cleaned up with acetate. This is going to make my outdoor experience more enjoyable. I can really dig this product.

Awesome. It digs holes. At least small holes. And it weighs nothing. Surprisingly sturdy for its weight.

Too flimsy. Bends easily when digging into harder dirt. The sharp edge on the "pushing" end is very hard on the hands.

perfect addition to my bob and thru hike bags. i use a combat shovel in my inch bag instead
