Hello, difference between 97200-ms and 97250-ms? thank you

The difference between 97200-MS and 97250-MS is the product number of the MacroView otoscope that is contained in each set. The 97200-MS contains #23820 MacroView otoscope with removable black base (which permits the user to use the base as a throat illuminator). Set #97250-MS contains #23810 MacroView otoscope which has a non-removable gray base.

What is the difference between the 97200 and the 97100?

The attachments appear to be the same the obvious difference would the body. The 97200 has a black alloy body which is lighter. The 97100 has the traditional stainless or chrome body which makes it heavier. Function wise they should be the same.

Is this the 97200-MS model?

Yes, it is easy to use and is lighter than my older welch allyn

Would have been nice.....

I have used Welch Allyn diagnostic sets for a long time and they are very good equipments. I did not like the fact that I needed to unscrew the otoscope head in order to have access to the throat illuminator. It would be nice to have the illuminator as an extra head attachment.

Very nice updated set

This set is much better than the older sets I've used. The coaxial handle is a worthwhile investment and very comfortable to use. High quality. I like the charger, too.

It's the best. Although bought from private individual it was in new condition. Since I paid 65% of new product price I feel I got best deal possible.
