Can it hinge up for stripper clips

It's not intended for use with stripper clips. It does swivel up and could be used that way but you are better off using bottom loading as pro shooter Jerry miculek demonstrated in a YouTube vid, Google it up.

Will this work with an arch angel kit?

It should work nicely with the Archangel kit. You will have to abandon the factory front sight. I have this on my rifle, with a x4 scope. It's proven to be a solid mount. Trust me, NO SKS should be without it.

Will this fit 1957 norinco sks?

Yes. You may have to file the ears where they touch the stock a bit so they don’t hit. You should be fine.
