Had to replace my 25 yr old one. This one has metal screw to tighten to your board/counter. Holds cord out of way. Works great. Recommend

This cord minder is not bad, considering the price. It does the job and I am happy with it. The quality is nothing to write home about, but until I can find a better one, I will appreciate it for now. I just received it today, hooked it up to my ironing board, it works great and does exactly what I was expecting. I did see a photo from someone who added a chunk of wood beneath their ironing board to give this device more support, and luckily I too had a piece of wood that I needed to place under the board and it definitely helps to secure it in place.

Screw and top clip made of plastic, did not last long before they wore down. Otherwise, size and design are great.

I didn’t know that such a thing was available! My ironing really frustrated me when, after I washed my linen pants, I ironed my pants starting at the hem. When I advanced up the leg, the cord dragged up the leg where I just ironed. I’m just happy that this is available. I don’t know if I have it set up correctly but it is working.

We have purchased two of these over past sixty days and both failed the first did not even make it to iron board before defect was found. I ordered a second one and it to failed in less than a week do not purchase ! When I attempted to contact seller their site customer service told me to contact a list of retail dealers That is not the way commerce works in USA you sell it you own up to it

Works well

Like most people who need to use an iron, I found the cord a constant irritant -- it got in the way, picked up corners of the piece I was trying to iron, etc. I bought this to get the cord up and out of the way, and it sort of worked. You have to make sure you put the cord into the top notch loosely enough to give you room to move the iron, but not so loosely that the cord is still a problem. It attaches easily to the ironing board with an adjustable clamp. Unfortunately, this thing isn't very sturdy. The bottom piece wants to fold the metal rod to one side or the other and the spiral of metal holding it onto the plastic piece pulled off. It finally became just as much of an irritant as the cord by itself. I have solved the problem by buying a cordless iron and this thing is going away with the old iron.

I have put off buying one of these for years...wish I hadn't. I sew a good bit and do quite a lot of pressing as a result. This little gadget makes my life so much easier, no more "Fighting" the cord. I put a 2"x2"x3/4" block of wood underneath my ironing board so this had something strong to attach to. It does not move at all! Very happy with this product.

This is a difficult item to find in stores so I was really excited to find this one. It came quickly and is awesome. Does everything advertised! No more tangled cord and no fear of burning the cord either. Seriously makes ironing so much easier!

Eigentlich soll es das Dampfkabel von einem Dampfbügeleisen halten, wir haben es als Schlauchhalterung umfunktioniert in dem es die Diamond Painting Saugmaschine den Schlauch hält und somit den schlauch nicht mehr Rumhängen hat. Bilder hierzu folgen noch. :) Die tag

this is so useful to stop the flex rubbing on the iron holder.

Manufacturing is good but the rod does not stay upright. And bends when im ironing. Only the standing is the issue when ironing
