Great Craft/Project Fabric
This fabric functioned perfectly for the use I bought it for - to sew a pre-filter for my cr-box style air purifier. The loose weave is great for letting airflow through but will catch pet hair to extend the life of the filters.I ordered only 1 yard, but the cut was generous. I pre-washed it, which did cause fraying and a slightly messy ball of thread in the washer, but nothing awful. After measuring, it was pretty easy to pull out 2 threads to create a straight line to cut on, because the weave is so loose. The seams pressed easily under medium iron heat. I'd expect to need a hotter iron temp for linen. If you're going to iron, start with a lower temp just in case. The second picture also shows there is some pilling, from 1 wash and the sewing. Possibly ironing the finished piece again would've reduced the appearance of the pilling, but I didn't bother.I could see this fabric working well for any kind of "rustic" or "farmhouse" decor/craft projects...It could make cute table runners, bows, maybe favor bags - possibly even very thin sheer "Belgian linen"-style curtains, especially if they were stationary. Without a lining this fabric would give no privacy. It gives that kind of homespun burlap aesthetic but is much thinner and softer than burlap. I do not think that this would stand up to being used as upholstery, unless the piece was just for show and never actually used. It's not really appropriate for the main construction of garments. It's pretty obvious from the seller photos, but you wouldn't want to be wearing a pair of linen pants made out of this fabric unless maybe they were a swimsuit cover up and you didn't care what anyone saw through them! It's very thin, light, and see-through, so it could be bunched up or gathered to make embellishments, or used like tulle. It could also work in costuming, maybe if you're going for Orphan Annie in a flour sack ;)Overall it was perfect for my application and when I got it my mind went to all kinds of craft uses.

Beautiful fabric, excellent value
Beautiful weave, great feel, gorgeous well saturated color.

Decent
This is a decent quality of linen if youโre looking for linen, that is a little cheaper.

Great for detailed embroidery
Very pretty color and works beautifully for detailed embroidery. Does fray quite a bit and is hard to iron completely so youโll need a good fabric starch.

quality backing fabric
used this product to reupholster a ottoman/footrest - it worked really well and was very easy to work with.

Very loose weave
The weave is very loose and uneven. I used it for an embroidery project regardless; but individual stitches pull and end up being shorter than intended and french knots go straight through unless you embroider tightly around the area first. I don't know how this could be used for cross-stitching which requires short, even stitches to hold firm.

pretty color
This fabric is *very* coarse. A few threads away from being burlap. The threads are so large they occasionally catch on the needle and pull. We had to use it for a Viking dress, as time is too short to order something else. It would be good for some decor project. But I'll not be ordering this again.
