Samsung HW-N300 Wireless Compact Soundbar

For a small soundbar, this really delivers. The audio is clear, with decent bass and plenty of volume for everyday use — a huge step up from built-in TV speakers. Dialogue is sharper and more balanced, which makes it great for films and box sets. Setup was simple. It connected via Bluetooth to my Samsung TV in seconds, and it also has a wired option if you prefer. No subwoofer to deal with, which keeps things minimal, but you still get a solid, full sound for the size. It’s compact enough to sit neatly in front of the TV without blocking anything. Ideal for small rooms or anyone who wants better sound without a full surround setup.

Very impressed with the sound from this sound bar. I bought it to replace an old 3d Panasonic 5.1 surround sound system with subwoofer. Its easy to install and I have a lot less wires behind my tv unit now. I have it connected to my Sony TV via optical cable. it turns off/on with the TV and I have paired my phone via Bluetooth very easily. the lights on the front are different colours depending on the input e.g. when its in Bluetooth mode the small blue light comes on as a visual reminder. only slight downside for my chubby fingers is the remote is very small - not much bigger that a credit card.

My Philips flat screen kitchen TV has a fantastic HD picture but a very tinny sound. This speaker works well and is tucked away below the TV, facing forwards and though strictly limited in base response is meeting my requirements. In my case it is connected to the TV via an optical digital cable and automatically switches on, a few seconds after the TV and off a few minutes after the TV. I still have to adjust the volume using the speaker remote. A reasonable price for a compact sound bar.

Used with a 49inch 6 yr old Samsung TV and had dithered for a while on buying this particular soundbar in case it didn’t make much of a difference. When the price had dropped to £109 I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. For the price I have not been disappointed. Voice quality is very similar to the TV but the improvement is with background sounds and especially when watching movies or dramas. If you’re into high tech high quality hifi it may not be for you. I’m 69 and was looking to improve my tv hearing experience and I believe it has achieved that. One of the things you need to get used too are the function lights on the front of the bar. Once you switch off your tv speaker (which you have to) , sound adjustments do not show up on the screen! .....you have to know what the lights on the bar are doing when pressing the various buttons on the soundbars remote!

Phenomenal product, We couldn't go back to conventional TV Speakers. As owners of a Samsung TV, we thought it would be a good idea to stick to the same brand for the Sound Bar so we got this variant - At the time of purchase it was £150 and definitely worth every penny. Until you hear your program sound via a Sound Bar compared to TV Speakers its really amazing what you are missing out on. The one we bought is wireless so it was able to be placed exactly where we wanted it in front of the TV and connected seamlessly via bluetooth. Whilst I am sure there are plenty of better options for Soundbars out there, for the price, this was a steal and had inproved my and my wifes viewing experience

I bought as a desktop speaker to replace a hi-fi with bookshelf speakers. The sound quality isn't bad, but there is a constant white noise while the soundbar is switched on; it doesn't matter whether you have anything plugged in or if any devices are connected by Bluetooth. That might not be an issue if the soundbar is underneath a TV at the other side of a living room, but when it's 2 feet away from me on an office desk it's very noticeable. On another note, it doesn't respond particularly quickly to the remote, so I tend to use the buttons on the side. It does connect quite quickly to Bluetooth, though.

This was easy to install. We hard wired it to the Samsung TV but also can be used as a Bluetooth speaker. Check settings on the TV if you get a slight echo as TV speaker needs to be disengaged. Do this through the tool/sound section on the TV. A beautiful sound quality and compact with no huge bass speaker to try and hide behind the sofa! Bought this during Black Friday sales so a good price too.

It took me about 5 minutes to unpack and install this sound bar. Connecting it via bluetooth to my Samsung TV was very simple. Setting the TV output to use the soundbar was equally simple. After that the sound bar was automatically controlled by my existing TV remote control. The quality of the sound is a big improvement and in particular dialogue is much clearer. For the price I think this is really good value for money particularly if you have a compatible Samsung TV.

Für das relativ kleine Geld (bei mir 139 Euro im Amazon-Warehouse ohne Mängel) bekommt man eine bluetoothfähige Soundbar, die allemal einen besseren Klang mitbringt als der TV allein. Wer keine hohen Ansprüche hat und vielleicht außerdem hellhörige Wände, kann diese Soundbar ruhig mal ausprobieren. Wir haben uns letztlich für ein anderes Modell mit mehr Wumms entschieden. Zu den geschilderten Problemen anderer Bewerter: Der fehlende deutsche Stecker ist kein großes Problem. Zum Testen der Soundbar haben die meisten vermutlich ein solches Kabel im eigenen Haushalt (Drucker evtl.). Ansonsten gibt es einen 2poligen C7 Eurostecker hier für 1,16 Euro im Prime! Suche: „EuroCord C7 Eurostecker“ und Betrag auf bis 2 Euro eingrenzen. Eine deutsche Bedienungsleitung findet man im Downloadcenter von Samsung. Den Link dorthin hat Amazon leider nicht akzeptiert. Deutsch kommt dann nach der englischen Beschreibung.... Sollte sich das Gerät nicht koppeln lassen, hat es sich ggf. die letzte Bluetooth-Verbindung gemerkt (ja, ggf. auch wie bei uns, wenn das Gerät weit weit weg ist...). Diese Verbindung muss dann getrennt werden. Hier ein Auszug aus der Bedienungsleitung, die man online bei Samsung findet. Bei uns hat es so geklappt: Um die automatische Bluetooth-Verbindung zwischen der Soundbar und dem Fernseher aufzuheben, halten Sie die Play/Pause-Taste für 5 Sekunden im „Bluetooth“ -Modus gedrückt. TV Connect ist ausgeschaltet. Um TVConnect erneut einzuschalten, halten Sie die Play/Pause-Taste für 5 Sekunden gedrückt während sich die Soundbar im „Bluetooth“ -Modus befindet. 3,5 Sterne vergebe ich, weil sie funktioniert und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis bei 139 Euro sehr gut war. Der Klang ist ok, aber für unsere Ohren darf es etwas mehr sein. Es kommt halt auf die eigenen Bedürfnisse an. Abzüge für einen fehlenden Stecker vergebe ich nicht, weil es mir bei der Bewertung um die Qualität der Soundbar geht. Unbedingt zu kritisieren ist trotzdem, dass der Verkäufer weder in der Beschreibung noch auf den Bildern auf den englischen Netzstecker hinweist. Ich hoffe, ich konnte helfen :)

Es hat mir nicht gefallen, dass ich das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen konnte. Weil es wurde UK oder US Kabel für den Netzanschluss geliefert. Ich wohne in DE.

Lieferung nach DE erfolgt mit US Stecker..... ebenso die Bedienungsanleitung nur in Englisch......was soll denn so etwas??????
