Marsha McLaughlin Radford's Tempus 85 Expanded Deck for Divination and Learning Lenormand Mass Market Paperback – January 1, 2018

Despite the fact that Lenormand cards move away from the more subjective, intuitive approach of tarot, readers may still find a lot of ambiguity in a reading that can be difficult for a beginner or infrequent reader of Lenormand to decipher. This deck aids in making sense of the very different meanings some cards can convey by separating out the different elements into separate representations. The images are bright and easy to read, with clear text overlaid for meaning. Also included are a set of timing cards with different backs to aid in timing readings.

These are like an extended lenormand deck with so many option cards. You get all the original basic lenormand cards and then some. If you like lenormand cards these are a great addition to any collection. The cards are thin but with some many cards it makes them easier to shuffle. You can break up the deck in whatever way you prefer and use only the cards you want to work with for the reading.

These cards have been blessed with a unique white energy that allows whoever uses them to call forth spirit's voice in an uncanny way. My readings have been accurate beyond measure. Also, the cards have colorful, interesting designs that are fun to look at. Expectations exceeded!

Extremely happy with this deck

Okay, simply put---I love this deck and I have been using only this deck for the last several weeks! I wasn’t sure I would like it as I’m sort of a Lenormand and Tarot (Rider-Waite) purist.But this deck isn’t really Lenormand to me…sure, all the traditional 36 Lenormand cards are in there but it’s much more. The extra cards are great and the specificity they provide is crazy. It's giving me the most specific (and dare I say, accurate) readings.The other most notable thing I enjoy is the extra timing cards. I mostly keep them out of the deck and use them after the spread has been drawn, if need be, but what a great idea. Traditional Lenormand cards have inherent timing meanings, but again, using these timing cards makes it seemingly concrete and so easy.I love the cheerful vibrant colors, size, and finish of the cards--they are thin and easy to shuffle in your hand but also seem pretty durable.I found out about this new deck from the creator Marsha Radford, who is a professional reader. I had the pleasure of taking a Lenormand workshop from her last year (or earlier this year?) and was so blown away by some of the readings I watched her give at the end of the workshop. She told a friend of mine that she would get a new job that paid well “very, very soon”, and my friend literally got that job the following Monday! So when I heard Marsha Radford had designed her own deck, my interest was piqued.Don’t get me wrong, I’m still all about my traditional Lenormand decks. And my trusty Radiant Rider Waite deck will always be pulled out for deeper esoteric insights but honestly, if you’re looking for a deck to provide a more predictive/divinatory aspect, give this one a try. It has earned a place in my highly curated (well loved and used) collection.These cards are easy to read, anyone can and will be able to get a specific read on a situation with this deck. Let me start out by saying that this is an *amazing* deck and one I've been searching for since trying to learn Lenormand! I've got, by last count, 8 Lenormand decks, so this is my 9th. However, I feel this will be my last as it's just so much more informative, and the information on the cards is broken down so much better than regular Lenormand cards. For instance, lily can mean maturity, but also purity and also sex. So which is it? The reader needs to figure out which meaning this is based on the context, however, that's not so easy to do. Tempus 85 has the lily meaning broken down into several cards which have the individual meanings so that there's no mistaking what the lily means when you do a spread. Brilliant! I could go on and on as to how much I love this deck, but I would just say that if you're on the fence about buying it, go for it! You won't be disappointed! I love this deck so much that I plan on getting a second deck in the near future as this is now my go-to Lenormand deck and I wanna have a spare just in case.....and, as if the above is not enough, I have also found that as far as readings go, these cards have turned out to be very accurate on things that I have been able to test them on. I also love the timing cards which seem to be right on the money as well; for example, I asked about the results of the upcoming election which is 2 weeks from today and, just for fun, i also picked a timing card and got the card that said the results would happen in 2 weeks! I don't believe anyone's ever done timing cards before and it's also a brilliant idea and just adds to the accuracy of the reading -- I just LOVE this deck!
