One Thing You Can't Do in Heaven

When I try to lead someone to salvation, I always buy this book. It helped me understand WHY JESUS HAD TO DIE FOR US. It's an easy read, doesn't use words that baby-Christians are unfamiliar with.

This has been the favorite book from the reviews of our School of Evangelusm students for the past 20 years.

I love this book. I used in as a guide in two small groups at my church. It really inspired me to share the gospel with others.

I really enjoyed the way Cahill gave his experiences in witnessing and what he has found to be the most effective in evangelism (including specific points and questions to ask or discuss with non-believers). An easy read and also a great read for those who desire to further their knowledge in evangelism.

When I moved to a new town recently, I joined a Christian Church where I felt very welcomed. One of the members gave me a book to read. This was it. I was curious as to the one thing you cannot do in heaven. I tried to imagine what it could be but couldn't. So I started reading the book. Then I started taking notes. This was an excellent book that reiterated what the bible already tells us: that we as Christians are responsible for bringing the lost to The Lord. We live in a world that is turning away from God. People are hurting and they are looking for a cure but they are looking for it in alcohol, drugs, sex, pornography, and on and on. Self-hatred and self-loathing are running amuck. Many people feel lost. Many of them only need someone bold enough to reach out to them and just strike up a conversation that will make them think about their faith, God, heaven and hell. This book was very empowering and should be on every bookshelf of every Christian In the world. Since reading this book, I downloaded the free Study Guide and have been delving even deeper into my role. In addition, I've put pride aside (because, face it, that's what keeps us from talking to others about Jesus Christ) and I talk to most people, total strangers, colleagues, and friends about what Christ has done in my life. The more it do it, the more I want to do it. We are not here to make them Christians. We are here to plant a seed and to let The Lord do all the work.

It was delivered already used

This book is a real challenge to christians as to how and if we witness. The book is also full of scripture and ideas to help in witnessing. The authors own experience is a great encouragement to just get on with it - to obey - to do what Christians do - to move out of our comfort zone and into the will of the Lord.
