JRM SnowReal Instant Decorative Artificial Snow

I hand built a cabin in the wilderness to create a Christmas scene. I entered it in state competition at Mississippi State last month. The snow was put on the cabin and yard three days before competition, transported 100 miles and as you can see, it held up quite well. I received a blue ribbon as Best In Show. I had never heard of this kind of artificial snow before. I found it by accident while researching artificial snow. I will be using this product in the future whenever the occasion arises calling for snow.

I tried this on a whim. I was looking for a cheaper form of artificial snow and while this did not fit my needs it was magical! It is a wet snow it is not dry snow like the kind you get at walmart in a bag. Basically you get a bowl of water, you put in a spoonful of powder from the package, stir and you have snow. It is fun to do and fun to play with. I put it in the fridge overnight and the next morning it even felt like snow! You can't pack it and make a snowball its too loose for that but you can stick your hand in a bowl of cold wet almost snow! It even leaves your hands dry when you pull them back out which was another miracle in itself! I couldn't use it for decoration other than in a glass bowl since it is wet but it looked great. I used two glass bowls filled them with Christmas branches and then filled them up with snow. So pretty. I also made a big bowl and let two five year olds play in it. It kept them entertained for a good hour or so. Easy clean up. It says you can let it dry out and use it again but I'm not sure how long that takes. I've had it for almost 2 months now and it's still not dried out. In a town like Los Angeles where everything is fake it was the perfect snow for us.

This product is so easy to use. I especially like it to create a snow and ice effect in candleholders.

Fun "snow". Follow directions closely, and rewet if needed. I liked the other reviewer who suggested putting it in the fridge.
