Excellent cookbook
Made a couple of recipes from this book. It's great. Antonio's recipes are some of the best. I love him and Gennaro and their cooking show!

For your coffee table, and just occaisionally drifting into the kitchen
Reads most like a guide to the numerous celebrations of particular products which take place in Italy, and to those products themselves. There are several recipes from each region, but this is in truth more a reading volume than an instruction manual, also a quite pleasing picture-book.If you have seen the author's TV appearances he addresses his viewers in a friendly, genial, manner. Informative but not didactic, this approach is also evident in his writing, making this a most relaxed work. If it wasn't sponsored by the Italian tourist industry then it should have been.

wonderful, wonderful
wonderful, wonderful, wonderful book. lots of recipes but also loads of info about the different regions of Italy. this is not a book you could ever get tired of, I am already looking for more of his books.

Superb book
Beautifully presented book, one you read with pleasure at night time. It really gives you the insight into the Italian regional specialities, lots of little jewels there.
