There are a few things that I really liked about this product first of all combining the phone holder along with the transmitter was nice instead of having to have two separate units. However the slide was a little on the stiff side and because of that, as I was taking my phone out the faceplate on the tuners side completely popped off and even though I put it back on it popped off a second time when I took the phone out of the holder again. But it worked very well with regards to the holder in My Expedition which has a little bit larger vent flaps, the clip works very well on that.

It holds a phone until the faceplate breaks off. Works as a transmitter just fine. But having it not hold a phone as it claims, one might as well buy a much cheaper alternative. Good concept. But cheaply made and quite fragile.

I like the FM Transmitter and bluetooth capability. The only complaint I have is with the vent clip. My vents aren't strong enough to hold up the weight of my phone so it just droops down. I'd much prefer a dash mounted version of this device. If you sell a dash adapter that will fit, I'd buy one.

Used the product in a 2009 Cadillac CTS4 for navigation. It relies upon air vents. In my case, I had to rotate the holder upside down in order to be able to see the screen, otherwise the steering wheel is in the way. It is able to make use of car's FM. I don't know if it has a microphone or it uses the cell microphone, but some people complained of not being able to hear me while speaking. Since other people didn't, it may not be because of the product. It is easy to put / remove the phone in the crandle. I think it shall work with any phone of "regular" size. USB charger and Bluetooth also worked. I was afraid that the air vent holder would fall in a sudden break / turn, but this never happened.

The product was difficult to install and sounds was not clear, alot of static sounds.

Easy set up works better than expected for the price

I had another type of transmitter in the past that I enjoyed but I decided to try this one because of the phone holder feature. It's a good product, the only problem was remembering all of the combinations to change the station, volume, track. I was used to multiple buttons with a dial on my old one, and the single button/dial combo on this one took some getting used to since I couldn't read the manual while I'm driving down the road. Pros: * Holds phone tightly * Sound quality is good transmitting to unused stations. I have hit a couple of stations where there seems to be some electrical interference from the car when I turn on the blinker, or wipers but it's pretty rare. * Plenty of features once you remember the button combinations. Cons: * Getting phone into the holder is a 2-hand operation, so don't use this if you want to insert/remove your phone while driving. * Vent grip is not very tight unless you can find a thicker spot on the vent (i.e. the center part that you normally use to adjust direction) and then it seems sturdy enough. * Turning the knob to skip a track or adjust the volume can be difficult depending on where you mount it to the vent. Overall a good product, I dropped a star since it's less driver-friendly than I would like.
