Drayton RT212, by Schneider Electric

Really simple swap out with older frozen valves. One was nice and easy. One old valve was so badly scaled and brittle that it shattered when I tried to unscrew it and then I had to clean up the connector and pin. Once I’d done that it was plain sailing and all sorted in less than ten minutes, the most time consuming bit was cleaning up the shattered valve. Both radiators working perfectly and both rooms toasty warm. Good price and so easy to fit, took a gamble on the issue and it paid off, saving me a fair bit of money and having to wait for British Gas or pay a plumber

This is the second one of these I've bought. Top quality, easy to screw on to the radiator and works well. What more could you want?

Very easy to fit but no location on the valve body so needs to be tightened up so that the head rotates on the body. Seems to work ok.

I knew that Drayton valves were excellent quality, but I took a gamble on this one - hoping that it would be good replacement for an old British Gas valve head that had snapped off. The Drayton valve was very easy to fit and works really well. I also like the metal lug that you can move around beneath the valve head to further limit the temperature that the radiator reaches even when the valve is fully open. Especially useful as this was for a child's bedroom.

My radiator was cold this winter so after many google searches discovered my TRV was faulty. Once arrived I fitted it in minutes and problem solved. Nice and sturdy - aesthetically pleasing!

Not much to say, seems to be good quality and was easy to fit to replace the one that had failed

There are two sizes of threads on existing valves, this suits the larger ones. Expensive as was half the price last year but had no choice as needed two urgently to replace other makes that had failed.
