Great value for the money!
The company I work for has invested in quite a few of the Azulle Access units. We are using these for Win10-based digital signage. They are essentially plug & play on our network. Having both ethernet and wireless is a definite plus. Where possible, we have ethernet going to them. For all intents and purposes, these units have been running 24/7/365.We currently have them setup with O365 licenses. We run looping PowerPoint presentations on them that are located on SharePoint Online. We can simply update the PPTX file remotely via O365 coauthoring. After it's been updated, we remote into the Azulle and simply restart the presentation. For us, this is a much better digital signage solution than investing in a separately managed solution on a different platform. As well, it's less expensive since we already own all the O365 licenses. Are there any "gotchas" with these units? There are only a few things worth mentioning.1) If you need to access it locally, you'll want to utilize a wireless keyboard/mouse that run off the same USB transmitter. The Azulle has limited USB ports.2) The antenna has broke on one of the units. Not necessarily due to a manufacturing defect, but simply because the hinge on it is small but snug. Too much effort and it snapped. The unit still works though as the internal wire is not broken; the antenna just hangs limp.3) I highly recommend NOT getting the 32GB version. With the way Win10 handles OS updates, there simply isn't enough usable space for Windows to download the updates and then have enough usable swap space to apply the update. Our 32GB units are essentially stuck on an older release of Win10.Yes, we could reimage the units with the most recent release, but that's simply not an option every time a release cycle occurs. And Yes, we also tried a hack where you trick Windows into thinking a USB stick is a physical drive (instead of a Removable Drive) and using that as swap space. Mild success, but again, certainly not worth the effort and well outside what even the above-average Joe would be willing and/or able to do. "Spend a few extra bucks and get the 64GB unit."
