sending it back
I could never get this thing to work properly. The instructions were not good, and the customer service from the manufacturer was not very helpful. When I explained to them the problems, I got the typical "we've never had these complaints before" kind of answer. I wonder why companies think these kinds of comments are helpful.I've actually HURT my back between the setup and trying to figure out how to use the thing. There HAS to be something better out there.

Great Mini Inversion table
I have had 5 lower back operations, and since this particular inversion table only allows your head to go down 15 degrees it releases pressure, but does not put excess strain on my lower back where I have had previous operations. I feel great after I use it.

Sturdy and not scary
I looked at a LOT of inversion tables when I started having lower back problems, and my biggest hesitation was that I don't want to hang completely upside down and most tables are designed to allow that. Full inversion is something that Teeter markets on his commercials but it's more stretch than needed and more than I want. Hard on the ankles, too.So, most tables are designed for various degrees up to full dangling. Yes, they have locking mechanisms so that you can limit inversion but I've read reviews about the locking mechanisms failing and some of the stands don't look all that sturdy. I don't want to be hanging on something wobbly, wondering if the lock is going to give and leave me hanging by my ankles so that I have to pull myself back up with a bad shoulder. Then I found this. It's priced a bit high for the market, but it was what I wanted so I took the plunge anyway. The steel frame is very sturdy and the padded backboard slides on a rolling track so you don't have to wiggle to get the full stretch when you invert. My only complaint is that the rolling track could be higher quality; it's adequate, but I expected something smoother for the price. I can invert enough to decompress and do stretching exercises without any fear of over-tilting, my hands can touch the floor, and I can easily right myself without too much pull on my shoulder by bending my knees to slide the backboard and re-center my weight as I grip the handles. The foot/ankle grips are well-cushioned. There isn't any sort of easy lock mechanism but once I had it adjusted for my size I just slide my feet in from the sides. Might be a pain if more than one person is using it and it has to be adjusted regularly. The table folds easily for storage, although I haven't bothered to do so because I use it almost every day.

Mini inversion table
I highly recommend this mini inversion table. I have a herniated disc and this table is a tremendous help. I use it as soon as I get up in the morning and before I go to bed. This table has helped me more than physical therapy.
