Can I use it on a cotton canvas?

Yes. I use it on 15 wt canvas all the time. Sometimes the primed side and even works just as well on unprimed side (just a softer effect). In fact all I use it on is very large canvas.

Does this work on flexible plastic? Like motorcycle fairings? Would it ship off?

Yes, you only need one layer on plastic, and they disconnect the cap so it ships far

Montana has a variety of caps available for their paints. The default size with is an 8mm fat cap
