30ft Beam Central Vacuum Basic Hose

The hose is exactly what we needed. Now our central vacuum cleaner is fully operational. The quality of the material the hose is made of, is very good and I expect it will last long. The price was the better we can find in the web.

I purchased this hose for use in our garage. Half the price of other hoses we were offered by the company who installed our central vac. Works greats and is lightweight and easy to haul around.

I dislike that it only turns on and off when plugged in or unplugged, no switch on the handle, which my old one had!

Works great, all I had to do was push it in and go! Just wish I had gotten the next longer one!

Hose works fine but is very basic. There is no switch on the handle. Plug it in and the central unit stays on until you remove the hose from the wall outlet. Much more flimsy than a name brand hose, but also half the price.

I bought this for a second hose to store near where I vacuum my dog. Another reviewer is correct: The hose is not as sturdy as the one that came with the unit originally, but the light weight is an advantage in my case. And for the price, you can't expect it to be the quality of the original.

When this many people comment on a product page that the hose doesn't make contact with switch, the manufacturer should include a simple .05 cent collar that can be slid on in these cases. A simple, inexpensive fix for a great reduction of returned product and unhappy customers who then leave negative reviews.

We use this beam vacuum in the shop to keep tractors clean, works great. But we had the old hose taped together with, you guessed it, duct tape! (worked for about 15 minutes!) So glad to have a new hose!!
