Note: the product is a device for raising and lowering a router installed into a router table. It's suitable for use with a variety of different types of routers. The on-line illustration and description of the product is a bit confusing because it shows the Router Raizer installed on a Fein-brand router. The product is ONLY the Router Raizer and does NOT include a router. Instructions are well-written and thorough. I installed the Router Raizer on a Triton router. The installation was not difficult, but it did take some time. I'm happy with the result. It's much easier, now, to adjust the height of the bit on my router - I no longer have to lift the router and mounting plate from the table to adjust the setting. This is a much more cost effective solution than a router lift like a JessEm or an Incra, though it's probably not as precise (I don't need the ultimate in precision) and requires making permanent modifications to your router (technically, the Router Razier can probably be removed but, effectively it becomes a permanently installed part of your router).I'm happy with the product.

The Router Raizer actually works nicely once you finally develop your own methods for assembly to your router. The customer service is zero from Router Raizer. I called, I left messages, I called again, and again, but no return calls from them. I called the numbers from their on-line site, which is the same number as the literature included with the unit. The instructions were very incomplete for my Bosch 1619EVS router. I finally developed my own methods,( I would like to see them just replace the spring) and I had to order hex material and fabricate my own handle for raising, and lowering, since the one provided is too short. In short they have a product which could be pretty good, but they are out to lunch on customer service.

This is a remarkably clever device designed by a resourceful engineer. I am as much impressed by the design and clever adaptation to all types of routers as I am by it's ease of use. My router was not that easy to use in my table prior to adaptation of this devise. You must get the Xtreme Xtension with this product. I had trouble with the directions. I called the inventor and he patiently walked me through the install.

This is a very basic router but it does work well. For the home owner who likes to work with simple projects, edging boards, etc. this router can do that very well. But I caution everyone to wear a good set of goggles an keep you fingers out of the way. Routers are a dangerous tool if not respected.

I have a Fein RT1800 mounted in a table that I've been using for nearly 10 years. I just got, installed and used the Router Raizer. I cussed myself for not having bought one years ago. For the first time since buying the router I can make really precise adjustments easily. For quick, coarse adjustments, or bit changing, I use a cordless driver with a hex bit installed to run the router up and down quickly. I use the Raizer crank for fine adjustments. I heartily recommend this product!

Great product at a very reasonable price. Step by step directions made installation very easy. works as well as the high priced unit.
