Pro Physician Single Head Cardiology Stethoscope

My wife and I have been nurses for over 25 years. We serve as home care nurses that specialize in cardiology education and high risk re-hospitalizations - needless to say, our stethoscopes are used all day, every day. Are go to used to be Littmann like every other nurse on the planet however, when you replace these every couple of years, that starts to add up. We tried ADC and a few other brands however they quickly broke or the finish broke down after we put them through there paces. We bought two of these figuring that the price was good and they looked as though they had a decent build. So, after both of us running them through the days we found that 1. They are sensitive! In fact the acoustics were phenomenal. Both the design of the bell coupled with the better insulated tubing forced us to back up on the pressure used with lung sounds and cardiac rhythm. The weight of the scope is a big factor for me, I personally cant stand cheap plastic scopes but that was not the case here - solid and sturdy all the way! The finish on the scope brought some attention from some doctors who requested to try them and they too were impressed. A few even asked if we could send the link so they could furnish there staff with them. Honestly, I'm starting to wish I made commission on them! Easy sale, hands down!The added pen light was also very nice but not a determination in our purchase. Packaging was also very nice and professional and it was extremely appreciated that a variety of ear buds were provided as they were all comfortable and sealed out noise very nicely.

This stethoscope is GREAT!. I did not realize just how much I had been missing, as far as sounds. I am a home care nurse. I see patients with a variety of complex diagnoses In a variety of settings in their homes, and on outings, in vehicles during transport and I need to be able to hear no matter what is going on. I was very attached to my littman. Granted, mine was a master classic II S.E. A coworker has and uses a master cardiology scope and I wanted the use of a tunable one sided diaphragm. . The one I did purchase did not get used long before it went missing. It was a LOT of money to just disappear!. I did not have the funds to replace it.. Stubbornly I stuck with my master classic SE. I recently found this online and for the money, thought Id give it a try.. WOW! I am simply amazed at my new ability to hear my patient. Mine came with 2 extra sets of ear pieces. Thank you RA Bock for this product!

Very good stethoscope

I consider myself a bit of an expert in stethoscope value because of the number I have purchased and borrowed after chronically loosing so many. Most competitively priced stethoscopes have huge deficits in the quality of sound they deliver. This one simply does not. The quality of this scope is comparable to much higher priced stethoscopes and is superior to any other stethoscope I have found for under $120.I cannot speak to the durability of this item since I have only owned it for about a month, but it seems to be well made and the materials appear at first impression to be good quality.The only complaint one might have is that the stethoscope is a bit heavy, however you simply cannot deliver the sound quality that this scope delivers without some of the extra weight. If you prefer a lighter set of ears, and don't place a great premium on sound quality, then this may not be the best stethoscope for you. I actually appreciate the heavier weight and find that the wider diameter tubing this has allows for a greater level of comfort than most stethoscopes when it rests on the back of your neck.I highly recommend this stethoscope.

If this stethoscope is supposed to sound anything like a Littman Classic II, then it missed the mark by miles. The tubing and earpieces seemed to be of decent quality, but the bell felt and sounded like a piece of garbage. I really felt like something was wrong with it, but I don't understand what can be... It's a molded piece of metal... Thankfully, the seller was very helpful, and if I were reviewing the customer service, I'd rate it 5 stars. Alas, this is a product review, so I must speak my piece. I have been a nurse for many years, and this thing is truly comparable to a contact room scope for sound. It is just slightly more comfortable than those. Totally not worth the money.

I like it overall but the head unscrews when using. like, i have to tighten it all the time which is annoying. Otherwise, it is ok.

My wife and I are both NP students and my wife has a Littmann master cardiology. I decided to give this a try before I bought one like hers because it looked like it had the same design. It arrived today and I must say that it surpassed my expectations. Holding it up next to the Littmann they are very similar tubing diameter is the same, length is the same, and chest piece is the same. I listened to heart sounds with this and my wife's and the sound quality was not far off. I must say that the Littmann did have better sound, but this was close and more then adequate. Not to mention the fact that I can buy 6 of these for the price of one Littmann. I highly recommend this product, in a direct comparison to the standard (Littmann) it was not that far off. I was able to hear all of the heart sounds that I could hear with the Littmann.

I honestly was just looking for an inexpensive but decent stethoscope to keep in my personal EMS bag, because disappearing Littmans make the wallet cry. Time will tell about the dirability, and it does seem well built. Tried it, auscultations are on par with my Littman Master Classic, at 1/4 the cost. The included red earbuds are much more comfy than any Littman I’ve had. And a free pen light, and replacement parts. Came extremely well packaged with a formed foam box liner to ensure no damage shipping. Update: I have so many of those cheapo pen lights laying around, I didn’t even open the little box the free pen light came in until a bit ago. It turned out to be a really nice, all aluminum LED pen light, with an actual on/off switch button on the top cap, instead of the pocket clip. Added perk to the purchase.
