It is a nice attachment when I need to take longer videos. Everything fit and worked great.

The pictures show closing the battery cover with the power connector plugged into the virtual battery. It can't happen with the M50. The post that supplies power to the virtual battery is way too tall.This makes the adapter useless for the Canon EOS M50.UPDATE:What I didn't realize is that the rubber cover on the Battery Door of the M50 lifts up. This exposes the jack that the power connector connects to.I used it today for 1.5 hrs in a family Zoom Meeting and it worked flawlessly.I should take a star or two off for the lousy directions and pictures, however that is not what the stars are for.I am very happy with this.I will update again should things change.

Exactly what it says it is. The chord can be a little long if you are just using this in a short distance but the battery and items all feel like good quality.

Well, I honestly didn't think I'd be hyping up a battery dummy, but here we are! This TKDY ACK-E12 Power Supply is like the superhero you didn't know you needed. I mean, it's just a dummy battery, right? But wait! No more frantic charging before every shoot! Picture this: you’re all set for a day of capturing memories, and bam! Your battery dies. With this little guy, I can plug in and shoot my heart out without a care in the world. So, if you're tired of living in fear of your battery draining during those prime photo ops, get this dummy battery! Trust me, it's the least dummy thing you can do for your camera. Seriously, 5 stars all the way!

After reading some of the reviews. For the canon M50 you have to put the battery in, close the battery latch and open the charger port rubber lid at the bottom and connect the power adapter through the port. A lot of the reviews had the charger base open.This was by far the worst product I have bought on Amazon. I bought it a few months and didn’t get a chance to use it. I finally decided to open it up and it doesn’t work at all! A complete waste of my money and I threw the box away so I couldn’t return it. I won’t be buying from this company again!

I have been looking for a webcam because I hated the one on my laptop. I had an old Canon M50 just hanging around my office so I pulled it to see if I could use it as a webcam and it worked great! The only probably was the battery would only last me about 30 minutes and some of my meetings would go 1hr or longer.I found TKDY ACK-E12 Cameras Power Supply and thought "Would this actually work?". It does work! I love! If you are looking for a high-end webcam with great quality I suggest using a Canon M50 and purchasing the TKDY ACK-E12 Cameras Power Supply to make things happen.

Again this model overheats my camera with in 30ish minutes of use. Easily under an hour. Seems like it will work fine for the M50 per others reviews on here but with the smaller m200 it triggers the cameras safety features and shuts it down.After some research it is a common problem with smaller mirrorless cameras and cheaper adapters like this. It literally feels like it is made out of nothing ... So other options are spending over $100 on a quality one...or try another one. This time I'm going to try a USB adapter instead of a wall one to see if that will help.Also yes the camera works fine as a webcam when I use the cameras batteries. Never overheats. Only when using this dummy battery.
