Clinique Almost Lipstick Tinted Lip Balm in 3 Iconic Shades Black Honey, Pink, and Nude Honey | Sheer + Lightweight

I love this lipstick. It gives nice sheercolor and it’s smooth and a lovely texture. It feels moisturizing. The color won’t last very long if you eat or drink something but it’s easy to apply again. I also use it over color stay lipsticks to add a bit of extra color.

I love this product, i know we are all here because liv tyler wore this while filming lord of the rings when she played arwen but genuinely its a beautiful color and it looks good on everyone. I started wearing this product a 3 years ago and i go through 1 tube every 6 months and i wear it just about everyday. The finish is very sheer but you can layer it to get an emphasized look a while still being very natural. I've actually gotten a few of my friends into this lip color. Its easy to apply with the twist cap, it adds a nice bit of moisturizing to my lips and the texture is really smooth. I'd say i go through one tube of this every 6-8 months and so the value of what it costs goes prettt far

Ridiculously expensive, but my favorite lip make-up. Love the Black Honey color. It looks natural, even if you need to reapply every few hours. You can also use it over another lipstick for depth and moisture.

I first tried Black Honey. I liked it but the burgundy color was a bit dark for my fair complexion, although it is a pretty color. I then purchased Nude Honey. Its color is similar to Black Honey but a bit lighter with less burgundy. It looks much more natural. It does not rub off on drinking glasses but does need to be reapplied often. It meets my needs and I’m very happy with it.

Ok, so after seeing all of the hype around the Clinique Black Honey and how it would look good on any skin tone I decided to finally purchase it. On the color/look: I'm the type of person who almost never wears makeup, aside from an occasional lippie. Normally lip colors look far too bold to wear without any other makeup; though this shade Black Honey is great with or without other makeup! It has a nice sheer look upon first application and is buildable to enhance and bolden the color if desired. Really feels like a "your lips but better" look. On the smell: So, it is stated in the description that it has no fragrance. I think this is important to mention as I dont see too many other reviews on the smell. Immediately upon application I was surprised at it strangely smelling like CRAYONS. I'm not sure why but it smells a bit of like old or cheap drugstore lipstick? Or like the cheap lipstick you get in little kid makeup kits. Like a waxy crayon smell, which stays throughout the whole time of wear. It's luckily not super strong of a smell, though it's definitely a bit off-putting to me. On the application: Glides on quite smoothly, as stated before it starts off somewhat sheer and is buildable for more full coverage. Although it starts off sheer it definitely has nice pigmentation immediately. On the feel: Although advertised as a "moisturizing lip balm," to me personally yes, it feels smooth, but not moisturizing such as something like a chapstick. It feels light, though I can still feel it on top of my lips; sitting on top rather than settling into them. When rubbing my lips together the lip balm starts to feel a bit gritty. Though even with that slight gritty feeling, the color still looks good and undisturbed, not blotchy. It does not feel sticky at all, which is great! Though obviously if you're somewhere windy and you hair flies into your face, your hair will stick to the lip balm. On the value for money: Overall at $25 I think the value for money is decent, though I feel it should be a bit cheaper; Although the color is great, it truly to me feels kindof more like a drugstore product. As such I feel its a bit on the pricey side, also considering how in my opinion there is a lot nicer feeling products at this price point. HOWEVER, you do get a great amount of product, which for me should last a very long time even with frequent wear. So if you do like the product/color I believe that it is worth at least the one time purchase! Overall, I would recommend anyone interested in the Clinique Black Honey to at least give it a one time purchase to try it out! 7.5/10 ★

Love this shade and balm. Just enough color to define my lips without being a full lipstick. The balm texture is good. Doesn't last super long but is comparable to other balms. Have worn for years and keep rebuying.

I love this lipstick so much. It goes on very easily and doesn’t smear, it gives me just enough color to brighten my face for the day.

I'm a little disappointed in this lipstick. It's supposed to be the Nude Honey color so I expected a light, sheer lip balm. But this is Dark, almost too dark for me, so I need to dab it on sparely. I'm fair with blue eyes and blonde hair with streaks of grey. I don't need a dark lipstick. But color aside, the lipstick goes on smoothly, it's not sticky, it has no weird odor or taste.

It's always great when a product turns up quickly and is exactly what you expected. Love this product.
