Received this last week from Amazon. Looks great, very nice design. But it will not charge my cell phone. I have tried several times to no avail. I have made sure that the POKI itself is fully charged, and it is. My phone was at 30% charge when I plugged it into the POKI last night. In the morning, my phone was at 12% charge. I hooked it up to the regular phone charger, and it charged fine. Tried again with the POKI -- nothing.And yes, my phone is supposed to be compatible with the POKI. It is a Samsung Galaxy S3.I haven't yet tried to contact their customer service division, but I will be calling them shortly. I'll post again and revise my one-star rating if there is a good outcome.One more caution: I keep my phone in an Otterbox case. As others have mentioned, the (nifty, spiffy specially designed) charger cord that comes with the POKI will NOT work if your phone is in this kind of case. So to use it, I've had to remove the Otter case, which is a pain, and not something I'd want to do on a regular basis.UPDATED Jan. 12, 2015I've added three stars to my original one, as I received a replacement unit after speaking with Lepow customer service, and the new unit, thus far, seems to be working properly. Lepow customer service got the second unit out to me very quickly -- I think I had it within 36 hours of my call. The company seems to provide very good customer support and to stand by their product. (And reaching them by phone was fast and easy, much appreciated!)The new unit seems to be charging my phone properly, so I'm satisfied. Also, instead of removing the Otterbox, I'm just using a different cable to charge the phone. I can still use the quirky, cool-looking Lepow cable for charging other devices, like my Samsung tablet.All in all, I can recommend this product, and if you should happen to receive a lemon, Lepow will make things right with you. Additionally, I recently also purchased the Lepow Modre mini bluetooth speaker, and I'm loving it -- great little device, very nice design, like the Poki.

**Newest Update**Lepow was kind enough to mail me another model, the Lepow Moonstone 9000 mAh.Overall, I am extremely satisfied that Lepow takes so much care to ensure customer satisfaction. The Moonstone is almost equivalent to the size of a macbook charger and slightly heavier. It came in a sharp midnight blue. Works like a charm.**Update ** What a surprise. Received a call from Lepow and spoke with Flora. After sympathizing with my unexciting experience with their product, she assured me that that they will take care of me. She said it could be possible that I had 1/100 chance that I had received a faulty Lepow which can explain the time it took me to charge. After our exchange, she offered to mail me their Lepow Moonstone, free of charge.I am looking forward to receiving the product and giving it another try.**Update**My other external charger was having problems so I was back on the market for another one. This one had decent reviews and the design looked pretty eye catching. Nice color and appeared to be thinner than my previous Anker model.I was a little disappointed when I received it because it's not as thin as it markets to be because only one side is thin. The other side is thick. It works okay. Takes awhile to charge phone. Can't say I'm super thrilled with my purchase, but better than no charger.

I purchased two Poki 10000mAh from Amazon in December of 2014. Both were purchased as gifts, one for my son-in-law and one for my husband. My son-in-law loves his but my poor husband has yet to even use his because I use it all the time! Before I purchased the Lepow Poki I did extensive research on portable chargers. Poki had very good reviews online and by several reputable retail stores. I think the average price at the time was around $40.00, but when I saw that Amazon had them for $29.99 that is was what sealed the deal. I'm very happy with my purchase. Both arrived in the mail in under 3 days, they were packaged very nicely and to my surprise, both came fully charged. The Lepow Poki looks good, I love the color and it feels good in your hand, it's lightweight yet it feels really solid, and it's also rugged. I have dropped it on more than one occasion and it didn't harm it at all. The felt case with the elastic band is a very nice feature, it keeps everything contained and protected while rolling around in my handbag. The Lepow Poki charges up super fast and it holds the charge for a long time when not in use. On one occasion it sat in the drawer unused for about 4 months, we had a power outage for the entire day and by late evening I needed to charge my phone, my husbands phone and both our tablets. I was worried that the Poki would be dead when I took it out of the drawer but when I swiped the front face it instantly lit up showing a full charge. I was able to charge all our devices to full capacity and the Poki still had a charge left over! After that day I began to use it more and more and now I take it everywhere with me. It fits nicely in my handbag, isn't bulky or heavy and I like knowing that no matter where I am I can charge my devices if I need to. I would defiantly purchase this item again - for myself and as a gift.
