Portable Lap Desk Large work Surface to 17" Padded

I use this daily and I find it to be mostly effective. I have two main pieces of computing equipment I use a 14" laptop and ipad with a keyboard case. I have not problems with my laptop fitting on the desk, but the wrist rest doesn't really do anything for it because my laptop sit up to high for the rest to be effective. It does, however, work for the ipad because the keyboard is thin enough that I can use the wrist rest. I can easily use a mouse, so there is no problem there. I also like there is no grooves or mouse pads or other things attached on to the actual table itself so if I want to write something on paper I can simply write on it without having to make any adjustments. The last comment would have to be on the padding. I think there should be more padding on the bottom of the table. It just seems like it isn't as padded as some other lap desks I have had in the past, but they had other issues.

This is exactly what I had been searching for, a no-frills hard flat-surfaced lap desk on which I could do crossword puzzles and also rest my iPad with its carrier. No holes or seams to spoil the surface. It has a polyester cloth on the bottom filled with fluffy styrofoam balls that are comfortable on the lap. The handle is poly cloth at the top, not evident in the picture, but perfectly usable, and the wrist pad is similarly well designed and comfortable. Sometimes simple is hard to find.

I like it, it isn't too heavy and the padding is good, not too stiff - I get carpal tunnel and didn't want to aggravate it. I don't use it as much as I should, I keep forgetting about it.

I bought one of these lap desks last year and I love it so much that I purchased a second one for my boyfriend. The bottom is cushy and comfortable on your lap and it easily holds a 15" laptop. It is also fantastic quality!

This is the best lapdesk i've seen or used. This is actually the 2nd time i've ordered it, because I actually ordered it for my best friend this time! I have a 17" laptop, & it fits perfectly with a cooling pad. I've had the one I purchased originally for years, & is just as good as it was when I first got it. The main reason I purchased it was to provide a hard surface for the cooling pad to allow the fans to spin properly, & it's perfect for that!Now I do use a mouse with my laptop & there's technically enough room for a mouse to fit on it along with the cooling pad, but there isn't enough room to really use the mouse on the lapdesk even if using the laptop without a cooling pad, but this isn't a problem for me because I just use the mouse on whatever surface i rest my arm on while using the laptop, & I actually prefer it that way.

I wish it were wide enough to hold a mouse. I have a 17" lap top.
