Don't buy until you confirm that your spindles are still good.
I purchased these bearings after one of my spindles started making a grinding noise. After reading reviews and researching using the internet I decided that I would swap out the bearings and change the blades at the same time. Well let me just say that it is probably a better idea to break down the mower first and determine the situation as when I removed the spindles I realized one of them was bent and not reusable. Now I know why many of the reviewers said it was better to just buy replacement spindles. I returned these and bought the spindles from Amazon which went in easily and got me back up and mowing. .

I guess you get what you pay for
Not any HIGH TEMP Grease, some had very little grease at all. Did they work, yes! Take the seals off and pack them with grease yourself if you want them to last.

Perfect fit on my Toro SS5000
These bearings fit my 2017 Toro SS 5000 deck perfectly. They were easy to replace with the deck removed. I haven’t used it much yet, I’m preparing for the mowing season so longevity is yet to be determined.

Same quality as OEM at a much lower price.
I use these in 2 different models of Toro mowers. My Zero-turn doesn't have a provision to grease the spindle bearings, so you have to rely on the manufacturer to install enough grease. I get around 400 hours out of those. I usually pop off one of the shields to verify that they are factory lubed, and haven't found a dry one yet. When I use these on my Toro that has greasable spindles, (same part number fits both deck, even though they were made 20 years apart) I remove the shield on one side and leave it off so the grease can get in. I go through that deck every winter and only have to replace one or 2 bearings out of 6 total and that is from operating in harsh conditions; I use that mower in the swampy areas and along the fence rows and in the ditchlines. The OEM Toro bearings are now all Chinese manufacture so there is no perceived quality issue with using non-OEM parts. I have used bearings from the auto parts store that were made in Japan and Turkey and haven't really got any longer service life from them and I've been using that older Toro since 1995 so I am pretty familiar with what works and what doesn't. You can use these with confidence, and since they are expendable and simple to change there really isn't any good reason to pay 4X the price at the dealer.

It fits the intended need.
Seem to be of good quality. Fit the Toro spindles. Some seemed to be a bit undersized. Fit but kind of loosely. Maybe the spindle was at fault. They will be held snuggly in place in service. Time will tell.

Fit my Toro Zero Turn MX5050 Spindles
Toro MX5050 Zero Turn Deck Bearings. I had 200 hours on the original deck bearings that went out. Hoping that these last a long time. Added extra grease to the bearings by removing the seals and packing a pretty full bearing all the way full of grease. (Reinstalled the seal after packing) I only gave a 4 star rating for easiness to install because it does take some effort to put these in & 2 of my spindle retention bolts broke off when removing the spindle from my deck. (Had to drill out broken bolts) The easier way would be to replace the whole spindle assemblies but I wanted to retain my original spindle components in case they are better quality shafts then aftermarket ones? I will update later if any problems arise with these bearings. Looks like I’m good to go mow now!
