Safe and effective with proper bait stations
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Sure wish we'd have found Agrid3 sooner! It's both safe when used in proper bait stations and so effective the savings in feed costs alone more than paid for this bait. Our farm cats are bored now lol Be sure to pick up several locking bait stations - the clear panel style is easiest to check without unlocking. Btw we noticed a reduction in rodents within 3 days and a greatly diminished population within 1 to 2 weeks. Rotate locations of the bait stations to confuse the really smart varmints. We did not have any health issues in the other critters who usually dine on the rodents.

Just what I needed
These blocks have no secondary kill. I wiped out my rat problem within 2 weeks. Please purchase proper rodent bait stations to keep other critters from investing the poison. Safety first. It's worth the investment.

Will not harm Wildlife/non secondary kill. Perfect for organic farms with Cats/Hawks/Owls etc.
I have a small pet farm with 30 chickens on it. I hold myself to a high standard with my flock and my local wildlife. This is a SINGLE KILL bait. This means it will NOT harm anything that feeds on the dead rodents after. I have a family of red tailed hawks, many owls, and barn cats in my area so I wanted to use something that would not harm anything else. I have also tried EVERYTHING ELSE humane and fast kill (aside from poison) and was pulling out my hair. I found this after so much research. It's not a FAST KILL. That's fine by me. It did get rid of my problem (about a month) but we had a LOT of rodents. Very high taste apparently. I was having to put out blocks every day in my containers (I used rubbermaid shoeboxes with a small hole on the far end and long slim bolts at the other to hold the chunks in place, otherwise the rodents run off with it). I still have half a bucket of it and am very satisfied with the results. It has paid for itself many times over, and gives me piece of mind that I'm only affecting the rodents, not the next in line. It's also organic certified! I love this about it.

I like using this product for the safety aspect that it ...
I like using this product for the safety aspect that it doesn't harm animals that come into contact with the dead rodents. Does a great first round when first applied, but unfortunately the rodents soon become bait shy and won't eat it.

Great for Chicken Coops!!!
Awesome mouse killer. I am using this in my chicken coop, and after contacting the manufacturer with questions about secondary poisoning, I was relieved that it was organic in nature, and the active ingredient is Vitamin D3, and basically overflows the system with calcium. Birds have hollow bones, so is safer than most poisons. I have moslty poisoned mice buy putting food even in the coops themselves, but out of reach of the birds. The first 2 weeks I found numerous dead mice ALL over. Now I am not finding them, but still making sure I have poison out for new ones arriving. My live mouse count has gone down tremendously, I have not seen live mice in a week or so. On the plus side, I know that the outside cats have gotten a hold of live and dead mice, and have not gotten sick from secondary poisoning. I like the chunks because the chickens cannot eat them like they could if they found the pellets. This was a decision out of purre fustration with feeding the enormous mouse colony under my coop. I was almost to "one bite" of decon, as live traps and snap traps are great for entry ways, but cannot go in the pens themselves where all the mice go.

Awesome rat poison!
Our Hawaiian rats love these rat tastey bars. To top it off, we can use them on our certified organic farm! They are easy to use, as we just place them in pet proof plastic rodent bait containers. It took the rats a day or two before they started eating them.

They work
These can be used with peace of mind. They get rid of the rodents but won't harm your domestics or chickens.

Great for stinking voles!
This helped me get the vole over-population in my yard and veggie garden under control. I just crushed up a few nuggets into small pieces inside a Ziplock bag with a hammer and buried those small pieces in the vole tunnels and holes. I noticed more success with putting the pieces directly in the active tunnels and then recovering with dirt versus just dropping the pieces in the surface holes and covering. Voles don't always use the same entrance/exit, but they do tend to use the same "highways" underground. The trick is keeping up with baiting every week or so until you see no more activity or tunneling. I kept up with this pretty much all summer. So far, so good! Fall is now here and that's when voles start to become more active, so I've noticed a few new holes on the property. Time to stay vigilant.
