Lemon peels
These are very good and I dipped them in chocolate coating for the holidays. They are soft and very yummy! Highly recommend and will buy more

Great for cocktails but alot more
This is a great candied lemon peel. Nice long pieces. I liked it so much this is my second order and I like the new packing much much better. It’s now in a plastic tub-like container instead of a ziplock baggie. Much easier use and reseal. Same great product. Good for cocktail garnish (think martini or lemon drop) but also great chopped in salads or mixed into whipped cream on strawberries. Or bblueberries.

I saved this a trip through my digestive system and flushed it straight away.
I opened the bag and the smell of potassium sorbate was so strong, strong enough that I know exactly which 1980s gas station frozen beverages it will taste like. Also, if I was still planning to use these in actual food, I'd have to slice them individually which would have been a sticky mess. These aren't like a bartender's zest twist, they aren't like a julienne, and they aren't a jardiniere cut either, this is straight up lemon peel crudo; yes, it's chopped evenly but the chunks are bizarrely large. For comparison, they are about the size of a what the kids these days call a "veggie straw" and maybe twice as long - well, there's $14.99 that went straight to the trash. I could have dealt with needing to cut these down to size, no big deal, but it was that potassium sorbate headspace that killed these for me. The only reason these get one star is because they gave me the opportunity to write this review.

Real lemon
Hard to recommend this product because I shouldn’t have ordered it in the first place. My mistake, so I didn’t feel right about sending it back.Should have read the description more fully.

Very nice!
Since I was not brought up in an Italian family, I have no fond memories to ruin, but I do have memories of the grocery-store candied peel we bought for fruitcake-making, and this beats that by a country mile! I was buying it for the "lemon peel" instead of for the sugar, which I don't much care for anyway, so I am pleased that it hasn't been rolled in granulated sugar. I ate three pieces soon after I opened the package from Amazon, and I liked the texture, just firm enough for me, and, although the flavor is not quite as tart as I expected, it is pleasantly lemon-y. I will buy this again, and I look forward to trying the orange peel.

Great flavor
I have been buying candied lemon and orange peels made by Olive Nation for two seasons now. The peels are very flavorful and I use them in fruit cakes. I do remove the pith from the peels before using in cakes. The pith does make a significant portion of the package, but its flavor is less intense. It's not absolutely necessary, but for more flavor I would recommend removing the pith.

Syrup soaked
I was going to use these as a garnish for a cupcake that I'm making for baby shower but unfortunately they came super gummy and syrupy. It looks like a limp wet lemon noodle sitting on top of the cupcake. My assumption was that they would be firm and crystallized candied slices not wet syrup coated. The flavor at first is yummy and citrus, followed by rind that is Harsh and tangy. Not a fan. Won't be ordering again.

Marmalade without the jelly?
As I consumed jar after jar of English marmalade, it began to dawn on me that what I really enjoy is the candied (citrus) peel. The higher the concentration of peel in the marmalade, the better I like it. Well. I’ve taken the obvious next step and bought two bags of candied citrus peel! I dunno, is it missing its long soak in the marmalade/jelly? To quote Utah Philips, “It’s good, tho!”
