I was somewhat nervous about cleaning the sensor on my Sony A7R. However I needn't have been. Using the Type 3 Sensor Swabs with a few drops of Eclipse Sensor Cleaning Fluid (both manufactured by Photosol.com) was really very easy and sorted out the problem in one go. The instructions on the box are easy to follow and there's a couple of useful videos on the manufacturers website which show how to undertake the task of cleaning as well as rather reassuringly guaranteeing the safety of the sensor when using the product. The only negative is the high price of both the swabs and the fluid But then again, it all works out much cheaper than sending the camera off to have it professionally cleaned. All in all an effective though rather expensive product.

Sorted out the sensor on my Sony A7iii without trouble as per instructions. The high price is not Amazon's problem as such, since prices from other outlets are in the same ball park. Manufacturing costs must be in the pennies.

Does the job,not cheap,but a lot cheaper than taking it to a camera shop & paying £50 to have the sensor cleaned.

These swabs are very good, each is individually sealed, so that you know nothing should be on them when you go to use them. BUT they are very expensive for what they are: a piece of linen on a small plastic stick, held together by a tiny elastic band. They arrived promptly and securely.

Very Easy to use, no fuss with clear instructions

Used it on my dusty D600 sensor.... yep... I'm one of thoseIts the only one with some kind of guarantee that it does't scratch the sensor (together with the regular Eclipse solution).Had to do 5 swab cleanings after 4000 shut. act. but it got the job done.

They did what I wanted them to do and were delivered on a Sunday, two days before they were due. I'm so pleased that when I need the type 2 swabs, I shall be ordering them from the same place.

These swabs are the best way to keep your camera sensor clear of dust and other marks. The price charged for these use once, throw away is extortionate. Not Amazons fault, just the price from their makers.

I have 2 FF mirroless Nikon and can't afford to miss pictures because I want to 'save', this is ridiculous.I need to clean myself because this service does not exist for miles around.Sometimes need 2 for 1 cleaning, do not try to reuse, that is a mistake.Anyway, they work great for me and always buy the same quality brand.

Either someone tampered with this box or this isn't the right size for Fuji xt3. It's Thursday night and I was preparing my gear for tomorrows shoot and I checked the box it says 17mm type 2. I went to apply the liquid and clean my sensor but it doesn't cover the entire sensor so if you press right up to the top you'll have a streak across the bottom. If you push down across the bottom of the sensor you get a streak above the top. They let anyone and their uncles sell on this site. Now I need to hopefully be able to rent a camera for tomorrow and also have to find someone to send this one in to get fixed.

L'ho usato per pulire il mio sensore. Con un paio di questi e il liquido, con due di questi ho pulito il sensore perfettamente. Operazione da fare con attenzione, magari documentandosi su internet. Il tipo di sporco che ho eliminato in foto non si vedeva. Con i video RAW invece c'era un "pelo" visibilissimo oltre che qualche macchiolina che sono spariti dopo la pulizia. Prima di fare il passaggio ho anche usato una pompetta ad aria e una spazzolina per il sensore di quelle finissime che passate vicinissime quasi senza toccare il sensore attraggono la polvere.In internet ci sono molti modi e spiegazioni-

c'est hors de prix, mais quand j'essaye des produits moins chers, ils ne sont pas aussi efficaces.ça reste cher tout de même !
