Works excellent to get hdmi to my front monitor and standard AV signal to my rear monitors in my truck. The hdmi input comes from a Roku unit so now the kids have Netflix and all the other streaming services available to them.

In the past 3-4 years I have bought and tried 3 similar units with disappointing results. They were all around half the price and the size of this one, with similar facilities.However, these were rigged with unreliability and varying quality responses to the equipment they were connected to. Usually, the sound was OK - though not always - but the picture was unacceptable. It varied from annoying - with instability and streaks - to unwatchable. Some provided Standard Options (various PAL and NTSC), with varying degrees of improvement, but no real success.Well, this 'Newcare' unit eliminated all the above sub-standard performances and worked perfectly well as soon as it was connected and switched on! Long may it continue to do so! The transition from Digital HDMI to Composite Analogue was fine and stable and the HDMI through Output was very practical and useful.I normally shop from the UK Amazon, as I live in the UK and Greece. However, I took a risk buying this from the USA because it looked more 'professional' and a more 'serious' piece of equipment. In a sense, I also interpreted its higher cost and shipping expenses as a bit of an assurance of quality and this has paid off!Delivery to Greece was comparatively quick - around 3 weeks - by today's Coivid-19 standards and the Customs Clearance Fees proved a shortcut through the Greek Customs that, following the accursed Brexit, currently delay items from the UK so that they take 4-5 weeks to arrive!Recommended Product and Seller!

The first unit I purchased did not work well. There was a problem with the audio. I filed for a return, and the seller's customer service team contacted me, WITHOUT ME ASKING. We discussed the issue at hand, they offered some solutions and Amazon sent me a second unit. IT NOW WORKS GREAT.EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE SELLER! THANK YOU.

This product does not work 90% of the time. There is a serious reliability issue with the audio output. The HDMI pass-through works fine, but there is either a power issue or insufficient guard-banding for the analog audio output. I tried to email them for support and they never answered back, so leaving a negative review in the hopes that it may save others the aggravation.I was trying to route the analog audio output to our home audio system (we have an amp that drives sound to 6 other rooms). The reason I needed this product, is the latest and greatest Comcast box no longer has analog audio outputs in addition to HDMI.Basically when only watching the TV and routing audio to the home theatre, it works fine (as it should, since all it is doing is passing the HDMI signal straight through). But the audio signal is 100% corrupted. There is ONLY static that plays through the RCA outputs.If I only play audio (e.g. music), this device works fine. but when passing audio and video (audio and video to TV, and audio to whole-house speakers), all I get from the RCA outputs is static.This device simply does not work if you want both and audio and video output to pass through. But it will work for audio only.

--- UPDATED REVIEW #2 ---So after 10 months, my replacement converter has failed. Worked flawlessly up to this point, but it's obviously disappointing to fail so quickly.Oddly, it was failing in the exact same way as the first unit I received (see previous updates below). So on a hunch, I swapped out the power supply with a matching one and... it's working perfectly again. I also swapped in the first unit I received, and it's working perfectly too.So as I had thought originally, the power supply seems to be the issue with my failures. It might be a good idea for the vendor to include a higher quality power supply, as the actual unit seems to be pretty solid. Hate to see a good product victimized by a cheap accessory.Downgrading to 4 stars for the headaches.--- UPDATED REVIEW ---The seller contacted me and offered me a free upgrade for this adapter. The upgrade appears to be the exact same box, but it came with a short, gold-plated HDMI cable for the input port. When hooked up, this adapter worked perfectly! So it appears the length and quality of the input cable is important for successful operation. Can't say enough about the follow-up service by the seller... upgrading the rating to 5 stars!--- ORIGINAL REVIEW (UPDATED FOLLOWS) ---First unit purchased had several issues... first, the PAL/NTSC switch did not work. Both switch positions output in PAL. Second, unit would work OK with only HDMI in and HDMI out, but the second I connected the composite out, the unit would fail to transmit to either. Seemed like a Power issue... possibly a faulty power supply.Thanks to Amazon, I ordered and received a replacement 2 days later. Second unit is mostly working, but is a bit wonky. When first plugging in the composite audio, there was just a series of clicks - no sound. Cycling the power a few times eventually solved this. I've also had a couple of instances where it dropped the HDMI out audio, and I had to cycle the power to get it restored.When it's working, it's doing exactly what I need it to. However, I am not confident in the long-term prospects, as it seems quality control was an afterthought with this unit.

This boosted the signal to my from my DVD player and Roku into my AVerMedia EzRecorder. My AVerMedia EzRecorder kept showing a signal error. After I connected them to this NEWCARE HDMI to RCA and HDMI Adapter Converter. My AVerMedia EzRecorder stop showing an error. The picture and audio quality is great.

As described and I’m sure works great just not what I was in need of. Good quality though
