I was having hot flashes and started taking capsules of evening primrose oil, at the recommendation of my healthcare provider. My hot flashes disappeared and I took it for years, but the capsules were harder in texture and became difficult to swallow. My health food store showed me liquid primrose oil and I have been taking it ever since. The taste is not pleasant, but I just swallow it quickly and follow with a vegetable or fruit juice. I also take flax oil and sometimes I pour the flax into a shot glass and top with the primrose oil and down it. I just noticed on the label that it contains soy which is probably the vitamin e, which appears to be a small amount. The dosage is 2000 mg evening primrose oil per serving which is therapeutic dose for me.I considered another brand, but it does not show the ingredient label, which is why I will not order it.

This oil works great. Just don’t really understand why there are no measurements indicators on the pipette. Like 1 ml, 2 ml, and even recommended 2.5 ml. How can one measure a sharp half tsp or whatever on an every day consumption basis? This is a serious flaw for such a great product itself. Thank you for reviewing this. The taste is awful would not recommend.

I think this stuff is so cool, and pretty in water, and the taste is great. For those who think this has a bad taste, they should try some other tinctures on the market right now. I'm taking a Female Tonic that is so harsh that I have to suck on lemon before and after just to get it down!

I have suffered with asthma for years. I had chronic coughing when my surroundings were most quiet and it became quite embarrassing! At night, I would get to coughing and have to get up so my husband could sleep! I used some doctor prescripted inhalers, but stopped because I didn't see them helping. I prefer natural products. My doctor recommended EPO for post menapausal symptoms, but taking the 3 dropperfuls each day caused me to have breast pain, and I stopped. I then decided to take 1 dropperful per day, and did not have any side effects. But, something amazing has happened! My coughing has stopped! EPO is good for inflamation, but I did not realize it would be this easy! My lungs were full of inflamation, but no longer! I don't have to reach for water or a cough drop anymore when I have a coughing episode, because my cough is gone! What a gift from God directing my path to this product!

Great alternative to big capsules. Taste isn't great, but it's okay and easy to swallow so I'm happy. Even though the dropper tool isn't working very well, I'm very happy with this product since I was having trouble swallowing the huge gel caps.

I have written of the benefits of Evening Primrose for my small Poodle, once before but will do so again. I give him a few drops of the marvelous oil once a day in his food. It helps with his potty problems. His once dry, hard stools, are now normal. This recommendation was made to me by his vet, many years ago and whenever I stop using Evening Primrose, he is back to straining and having a difficult time of it. He also gets Salmon oil but that alone doesn't seem to work on this problem. This order of Evening Primrose was exceptional. It is larger, more economical than anything I've ever used before, and works like magic. I'm very happy with this purchase, and so is he.

I have been using this product years for breast and menstrual cycle health. Recommended by my physician. I love that it's a liquid, easy to digest. I put it in applesauce. At first it tasted off, however, I am used to it now. Highly recommended for fibroidcystic changes in breasts. As well as helping menstrual cycle while easing into menopause.
