Gold Finish wore off in two hand washings, poor quality, question legitimacy of brand name product

I received my Swig Tumbler in a thin (barely padded) Amazon envelope. There was a sizable dent on the tumbler. I'm not sure why Amazon would not package the item in a box. I've seen similar review of damage to the product. The quality of the tumbler looked, great just not the dent.

Being a cup enthusiast I was slight disappointed it’s kind of cheap looking

The exterior coating of this cup began flaking off during its first and only use.
