Dog Training Collar Rechargeable Rainproof 330 yd Remote Dog Training Shock Collar -Vibration, Shock and Tone with Backlight LCD,Vibra Shock Electronic Collar

This Training Collar is very similar to one I owned previously. I like the nylon collar as opposed to the previous pleather collar. The remote is almost identical to my previous remote, but this one seems to be more user friendly because of the color of the buttons and size (something like the cell phones with bigger buttons that are easier on the eyes). This collar has saved me much stress when my lab decides to run off totally ignoring me (and he even had obedience training and still likes to ignore me).This is worth the price and I highly recommend this for dog owners.

By my mistake and trusting Amazon, I purchased this collar based on the number of reviews, overall rating, and scanned the reviews for the "verified purchase" designation. The collar was a great price so I bought it. SURPRISE - this was a BIG bait and switch. The reviews were for a fur removing tool and not the collar. I'm not sure if this is an Amazon issue or seller issue. Either way, it was very dishonest and a scam to sell these cheap collars.When I received the collar, I was very happy with the nylon collar. Be aware that if your dog is above 50lbs, this collar will not fit their neck. It has been downhill since unpacking the box. The component and remote are very cheaply made. The instructions are unclear. There is no off/on on the component. The charging port and reset button are difficult to access when the component is attached to the nylon collar. Detaching the component from the nylon collar is difficult, as the nylon is stiff and gold quality but the component is very cheap plastic. I expect the clips that help attach the collar to the component to last a week or two at best. The shock function does not work at all (tested it with the enclosed LED tester and by holding it). The beep function is exceedingly loud. If my dog is 100 feet away and I find the beep too loud, I imagine my poor doggo gets his eardrums blown off. So the beep function is useless to me. The vibrate function says it is adjustable between levels 1-100 but it has one level. The vibrate is fine for my dog but I would never put it on a small dog.Overall, this collar is absolute junk. I'll be looking for a replacement and returning this one. Not only is the quality garbage, but it doesn't work properly and either Amazon or the seller tried to skew the ratings. I gave one star for the quality of the nylon collar.

The only thing I am not happy with is that I bought the 2 year warranty and after maybe 6 months the clip on collar broke off and they would not replace or fix. So do not buy the warranty. Not worth it. Other than that great it has taught my dog a few things.

The collar is very weak and two have broken already.The settings for zap are from 1-100 and setting 3 is surprisingly strong (hurts myself when testing on my wrist.)Quality collars will have controlled and properly scaling for their shock levels. I can't imagine how painful anything above 10 would be, let alone 100. The charge lasts maybe 3 days before having to plug it in for y hours, and the clasp is very flimsy and 2 have broken.

Was so very hesitant on using one of these, buuuut my friend recommended me one and it has done an awesome job. Never used the shock mode on it, only the vibration and the beep, which my dog listens and hates at the same time. Vibration doesn’t hurt just doesn’t like it. I don’t even have to press anything for him to listen, just pick up the remote and show him. And he will listen.

This is a really inexpensive collar and it works fine. I only use the vibrate setting, and this collar does not include the rubber tips that replace the shock tips, which I think would be more comfortable than the pokier tips that this collar has. Fortunately, I had an extra set from a different collar and was able to use those instead.Also, the remote unit automatically shuts off after a time (presumably to conserve power). Since I use the collar at the dog park just in case my dog becomes aggressive, I have to keep reactivating the remote or risk being totally unprepared if I actually need to use it.My only other complaint is that charging the collar unit requires removing the nylon strap, which is mildly inconvenient.

First if all, trust the 1 star reviewers. The high reviews are for a different item. Second, 5 seconds after I opened the box, I already know the shock collar is going back to the seller. What idiot would sell a rechargeable item without a charge status indicator? Oh wait, there is one but it's inside the reciever collar so you can't see it. I decided to give the product a chance and recharged the reciever collar for 6 hours as recommended on the poorly written instruction and when I tried it, it didn't work. BTW, did I mention it's cheaply made? It looks like the remote and the receiver are 3D printed parts that will easily break. I don't like writing 1 star reviews but this one is just disappointing. If it's possible to give this 0 star, that's what I'll give this junk.

Works great on the dog. Cant wait to slap this sucker on the cat!
