HANA Professional 1'' Flat Iron

I LOVE This product!!! I switched from CHI turbo by Faruk (spelling?) about two years ago. I'm now on my second Hana straightener. Their product is excellent. Their packaging is always beautiful, too. They always include something special! Last year, my box came with an angel ornament in it. It's on my Christmas tree this year. :)

omgggg this machine does wonders i have really tight curls love the way my hair looks silky n straight i heard you can also use the flat iron to do long soft curls i got to try that next time the best thing was when i open the packaged there was all types of little gifts tha'ts really amazing it made me feel special a lot of other companies dont take their time to do that iam a happy customer

I love it. I've always used a $30 flat iron and had to pass it 4-5times to get it straight while it ripped strands out. I have thick curly long hair and with 1 or maybe 2 passes, it straightened it. The company also sends you a bunch of random useful goodies which I loved. Made the purchase well worth it and I have recommended as it was recommended to me.

I have had this flat iron for a while and feel I can now post a solid review. I have previously owned CHI, T3, and a GHD iron. When my GHD was accidentally broken, I decided to try a HANA after hearing rave reviews from friends. Ignoring the cheesy "extras" in the packaging, this iron is pretty mediocre. The plastic feels cheap and the edges are rough, which snag my hair. The plates are reasonably smooth, but it does not glide effortlessly through my hair like GHD and T3 irons do. I think for someone with fine hair, it will be okay, but if you have moderately thick or coarse hair, go ahead and pay a little extra for a GHD. I really wanted to love this iron, but it has been sent to the donation pile.

Its Okay, i did receive it with loads of goodies (however was not crazy abount any of the free stuff i received except for the mat)I have owned many irons in the past however they were all titanium based , as my hair has become rough with so much color and hair-iron -ing, that i read online its better to use the ceramic flat iron as it is less damaging, i bought this flat iron based on the ceramic surface, it works good but takes a long time compared to my babybliss flat iron (not ceramic) . also it does take a while to be fully hot.pros: it does result in silky haircons: too long that my hand is tired after i finish.

It's nothing like the other hana iron I had before this one. I had the pink breast cancer one for 3 years and I loved it! This one is lose and doesn't work right. It snags and pulls my hair and I have to run it through my hair several times. I should have spent my 140.00 on something else!

I love my Hana and recommend it to anyone that has thick n extremely frizzy curly hair. It gets the job done on one swipe for any type and temp is adjustable and stays consistent. As a professional I wouldn't buy any other fiat irons again bc this one is worth the money spent unlike the tons of others I've bought and used!!!!! Thank you Hana Salon!!! I have one small problem this one I may need to exchange....the end of the cord that meets the iron is bent making it act like the cord had a short which prevents me from using it bc it turns on and off. This is a cord issue with them and is what happened with my first one. Maybe the way it's wrapped in shipping? Or is this a defect? Please help. I truly can't be without this flat iron!!!!

I've been using this particular Hana straightener for over 6 years. My old one broke (I dropped it, completely my fault), so I decided to search and around and see if there were any other straighteners that would work for me....Hana tops them all. Chi made my hair feel fried, as though I was setting my hair ablaze, and I tried a bunch of other random-brand straighteners that were even worse. In the end, I re-bought this straightener--it really is the best. It makes your hair feel as soft as a newborn puppy's fur! It controls frizz too...not to mention this straightener is great for curling your hair (that's the reason I bought this straightener in the first place). I curl my hair almost every day with this straightener, yet I never feel as thought I'm damaging my hair.Plus, as if the straightener wasn't enough, when I ordered my straightener, it came with a big box of little presents! There was a little angel ornament (I ordered mine around Christmas), an eyelash curler, eye shadow, lip liner, little bath soaps, and many other little trinkets that I can't quite recall.Point being, if you're on the fence about whether or not to try this straightener, I say go for it. You won't regret it. :)
