Doggy Things Puffa Jacket, L, Yellow

I have a medium sized Jack Russell (she weighs around 8kg) and wanted to get her a little coat to help to keep her warm and dry through the winter months. This coat fits the bill perfectly, I'm so pleased with it!. It's well-made and lightweight but has a warm fleecy linining. The claim that it's waterproof hasn't been fully tested but so far any mud/dampness has been easy to just wipe off when we get home.I measured my dog first and found that a Small size would just about fit her but I bought a Medium to be sure. I'm very glad I did buy the slightly bigger size as it means that the coat fits over her harness easily, which is great as there's a hole for the lead to come through. My dog looks adorable in this coat and I like that the hood is detachable, but she looks so cute with the hood up that I've left it on!

We bought this for our 4.5kg Shih Tzu and the Small size fits perfectly. We originally bought both Small and XS but the latter was far too small for her.The coat is well made with a hood that doesn't go over her eyes like some other coats we own. The fur on the hood keeps her warm and actually suits her really well, while the poppers are easy to do up and are a far better option than velcro for hairy dogs.Having tested this in the rain and wet and muddy grass I'm quite pleased at how much this protects our dog's tummy and it's far less of an effort to clean her after a walk in bad weather now.

Lovely Coat, fitted well for my dog, She is a Stafford Bull Terrier and of medium size for her Breed.I ordered the large size taking into account buying other coats which I ordered the " Right size" and they always fell short in fitting, this one was perfect and fits like a glove.Very soft and well made (no lose ends or bad stitching), there is no Velcro it is plastic stud type (the sort found on duvets), I must admit, I'd rather it was Velcro as it would be easier to do (she plays up when I am putting coat on), I like the idea that the hood detaches, and the coat looks good on her with or without it.Not to sure about is claim of being waterproof, it does not feel as though it will be, but I will have to wait and see.A light coat that feels warmAt the end of the day a very good coat and a good price

This doggy coat is superb. It's waterproof, warm, and adorable. A lovely little feature is the small "button hole" in the body of the jacket, just behind the detachable hood, so you can attach the lead to a harness without a problem.One small point of note, the sizings are very accurate. I bought a small version for my Jack Russell/Staffie cross. She's an "inbetweener", where medium is way too big and small is just a little bit too snug. I've found it does stretch ever so slightly with use, but to get it on and pop the poppers together I have to invert my poor dog so she lays on her back while I do it up.It's a hilarious practice that she's getting used to, and certainly nothing wrong with the product... just be aware there is very little leeway with the measurements.

The size matches perfectly to my American Pitbull.The jacket stays always is place when she runs. Tehre's no twisting and/or hurting in the legs.Now she can walk in this cold and rainy days without a problem.Money well spended.

The siz 'large' was too small for our collie X. Additionally, the trim materials are not labelled so could be real rather than faux fur.Would not re-order for this reason.

I walk a lot, mostly on country lanes, with my springer spaniel. At the end of a walk she would be wet and muddy, especially in the winter months. Now things are a lot better, because most of the wet and mud goes onto the Puffa jacket and not onto the dog. The dog stays dry and warm, the jacket is easy to wash. I would have given 5 stars but it took me quite a long time to work out how to put the jacket on the dog. Your dog needs to be quite patient and placid, as you have to help her put a leg through the leg hole and she then has to wait while you do up the press studs.

The item arrived in good time, via amazon prime and appeared to be warm and watertight, as described. However, although I had measured my puppy to ensure I ordered the jacket in the correct size, I've found that the leg holes are overly large. As a result, my puppy's legs frequently slip out and get caught in the body of the jacket while he is walking. This is frustrating for both of us. Also, after just one wear, an underside seam came undone. I arrived home with a wet, cold puppy and neither of us were happy about that.
