Everyday coffee driver
This coffee maker is great! My partner and I use it for coffee every day.It is functionally equivalent to the Frieling Coffee for One (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005Z48XZ0) but fits slightly smaller cups. The coffee that it makes is exceptionally smooth, and it is nice because you can pour the water and walk away. No spending your time trying to have a steady, even pour like with traditional pour-over devices. It does not make a "clean" cup on it's own. That is - it will allow some of the coffee grounds to seep into the cup. It isn't enough to bother me, but you can always combine an aeropress filter to make the cup "cleaner." Be aware though that paper filters will extract the natural oils out of your coffee. One catch with this coffee maker is that the water can seize up, causing the coffee to be over-extracted and take a long time to filter through. A trick to avoid this is to put an elastic hair tie under the top lip of the filter, which allows the reservoir sit a little higher off of the grounds. In response to the people complaining about the cup size that this filter works for - it isn't designed to make an "American" amount coffee. The amounts that work best equate to less than a Starbucks Tall. If you're looking for more coffee than that, I would recommend a full-size coffee maker. When I use this filter, the numbers that I have found to work best are: 15g of coffee ground with a Baratza Encore at setting 15 and combined with 1:15 ratio of coffee to water (225g). I usually add 40g of water first and give it time to bloom before adding the rest.

Works OK if you have the right size mug
We own several of the similar Frieling one-cup pour-over coffee filters, and use them every day. I bought this Finum filter to replace a Frieling that blew away on a windy day camping on Mt. Diablo. When ordering, I thought I was getting the same thing, but this unit is a little different in design, and is not working out very well for us so far. The problem is that its base is a little narrower than the Frieling product, and does not fit over most of the mugs we own. So it perches uneasily and wants to fall off at any moment, leading to scalds, and a big mess. I also have misgivings about the stainless filter, while the Frieling filter is gold-plated and has held up well for many years. Apart from these objections, our new Finum makes a good cup of coffee, if you have a mug that is just the right size.Your mug's outside diameter must be less than 3-7/16", and the inside diameter must be more than 2-13/16". Good luck!

Very nice single cup coffee maker.
This thing works great. The gold filter material is VERY thin though and I'm a little concerned as to how well it will hold up long term. Time will tell. My only real gripe right now is that it wasn't packaged better for shipping. The box it came in was just really thin tagboard and it was shipped in a padded mailing envelope, which really didn't afford much protection. The box was pretty mutilated by the time it arrived here and the gold filter was very wrinkled because the plastic part had kind of gotten crushed in transit. It did spring back into shape but the filter is still wrinkled. Thankfully, the filter stayed attached to the plastic all the way around and, so far, it's perfectly functional - hopefully it stays that way.

My second one
These are the absolutely the bomb for the best tasting coffee. I have several mugs in differing sizes so I cut my own gasket from the plastic lid on cans to accommodate. Much easier if you do not have access to a 3D printer. My brother stayed with me for a while and really liked the coffee so I sent one to him for a gift.

Works Great Easy to Clean Take it to the Table
It works great, even with very fine grinds. Easy to clean. No paper filters to mess with. What I really like about it, is that after you add the water to the spritzer and cover it, you can take the whole thing it to the breakfast table while it drips, then when the mug is full, remove the filter and set it on the reversed cover you use as a drip tray. No standing around near a sink waiting for a cone filter to quit dripping and then moving he wet filter which often as not gives a drip or two on the counter or worse the floor.

Too small to fit one most normal American Coffee cups.
I previously owned a Swiss Gold Coffee filter that looked very similar to this but much better quality that this filter. I damaged the Swiss Gold and bought two of these. The Diameter is too small to fit onto most American Coffee cups. I brought them to work and they did not fit on my coffee cup, the paper cups the company has, or other random cups in our cupboard that other employees own. Very disappointed that I have to hold the filter in place for the entire process. I have to bring this to the store to see if I can find a narrower cup that will fit this.Update: I made an adapter for the coffee cup with my 3D printer. The cup diameter has to be 90mm to fit a normal cup. This coffee filter is only 86.5mm. I am raising my rating to 3 now because I can actually use this now. I will post my design online on a Thingaverse and call it Finum Coffee Filter.

Great filter, BUT too small
It works well. No filter papers to mess with. Just as good as the old SwissGold ones.Handles up to 23g of coffee grounds, enough for a 12 oz (375 cc) coffee.BUT, it is too small to fit on almost any "normal" 12 oz mug. It does not fit on a diner-style mug. It does not fit on a 16 oz mug (the type that usually has some design printed on). It should fit OK on narrow travel mugs which are sized for car cup holders.Your cup/mug needs to have a rim outer diameter (OD) of less than 3⅜ inches. Otherwise, it's a bit of a balancing act.

My Go-To for coffee making.
Without my filters I couldn’t survive. Makes the best coffee.I like it strong and it doesn’t make it bitter if I do it right.

A great idea, won't fit all cups.
It's a very good idea and works well BUT it does not work with all cups/mugs if the handle reaches to the top of the mug/ coffee cup, it will NOT work there must be at least 1.5 cm at the top of the cup and the cup must have about 8cm in size smaller will not be big enough and will leak.

Makes smooth good coffee and incredibly easy to use.
I wanted Frieling Coffee for One Filter but it is now replaced by EziCafe Solutions (Made in China filter) and I had to ask for refund. I ordered Finum Coffee sprinter instead. The Finum sprinter is very easy to use and to clean. More importantly, Finum filter has the ability to deliver the delicate balancing act of extracting coffee evenly and consistently, allowing the flavors and aromas of single origin coffee to shine. It's a keeper.

Does the job. A little too quickly…
I’ve been using a plastic Bodum one cup press for 20-odd years, several times a day, but like a moron I left it on holiday in France. This covered the grounds and made a good strong filter coffee. I wanted something similar, and this worked in the same way. However, the filter is really fast, leaving a weak coffee. I’m stuck with it and there is a way around this. Use finer grounds, almost espresso fine, and use the cover/drip collector when full. This seems to create a vacuum as it filters through slowing it down. Happy overall, but not brilliant.

Has a hole and the coffee falls through
Poor quality. I will look into getting a replacement not happy at all.
