Black - Heavy Canvas Webbing Roll 1.25" for Key Fobs, Purse Straps, Belting (5 Yard Roll)

I was looking for this cotton webbing to replace a purse shoulder strap. I am glad I went with this one. it is very sturdy, and looks and feels just like the webbing that is on my (Kipling) bag. This is not the kind that you melt the raw edge with a candle as this one is cotton. The brick-and-mortar store has this available but the price per yard is what I paid for the 5-yard roll. I highly recommend this item!

I purchased two of these, one in lime green which was a pretty color and one in coral which was actually neon pink (ugly). The webbing is really stiff so you can't tie it to itself which means it requires some type of cam or buckle. All of the cams on Amazon are built for 1" webbing. This is too wide. I purchased the plastic buckles that are 1.5" (that's all I could find on Amazon with prime) and they didn't fit either. Unless the company starts making accompany no sew buckles or cams, I would NOT recommend these.Returned them. So disappointed. :(

Two stars because this is not cotton webbing as described in the listing, but a cotton and polyester blend. This webbing is nowhere near as soft and comfortable as 100% cotton webbing.Burning loose thread on a cut end plasticizes the end and reveals it is synthetic. The seller acknowledged that they need to correct the listing as it is a cotton/polyester blend, and promptly approved the return of the item and issued a refund.My two star rating has no relation to the merits of the quality of synth blend webbing, but is merely an attempt to make you aware that it is a synthetic blend as to date the listing was not corrected.

I was very pleased with the quality and colours I received in my first order, placed in March 2021. It was great to be able to order a mix of 5 one-yard pieces. However, I could not find that facility for my second order placed several weeks ago.

Ordered this because I had frayed belts from heavy use. The buckles were fine but the webbing was shot and this works extremely well. A new belt costs $9 to $10 and this lets me make them using the old buckles saving money and it's better, more durable webbing.

Very good quality!! Cotton, natural feel... not synthetic-y feeling at all! I couldn't find this size at my local craft stores - yes, I have ALL of them near me - so I had to go to Amazon. It was a decent price for exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I have a LOT left over, but I was very glad to have the exact size I needed, so I didn't mind one bit!

Good, heavy webbing for many purposes. THICKNESS is 2.5mm. If you intend to use it to replace military-type belt webbing, make sure you verify thickness of your current webbing that is being replaced. My original webbing was 3.2 mm, so I found that this webbing slipped through the buckle. Another customer with military-type buckles found this webbing worked well. However, in mine, it tended to slip through, the toothed roller in the flat-front buckle could not grip it tightly enough due to it's being thinner. Rather than try to alter the buckle, I returned the webbing. Good service from this vendor, no trouble with return.

Works perfectly for what I needed. I’m using it to make DIY leg and chest harnesses for a cosplay. I ordered it with 1.25” buckles and it worked out great.
